RIVLN Clique is a soulful hip hop group from Cape Town on a small area called Philippi. This crew was established in 2010 by four guys’ namely Invisible virus, Revelation, Luhlakanipho and Ncutshe. Because this crew wanted to be different in every way from other crews that existed before and after them they decided to choose a name that will be more personal and meaningful to each and every one of them so they took the first initial of each member in the crew and they formed the acronym RIVLN. These guys have created a great bond since their high school years because of shearing one thing common which is the love for hip hop music. They started working together by doing collaborations and using the same Studio called Godsend Records which is also owned by a member from the crew (Ncutshe) who produces some of their work, since then they never stopped doing what they love the most until they realized that soulful hip hop is what defines them better. The unique styles that each individual in this group poses didn't prevent them from jellying together and coming up with a beautiful sound that they were intended to do from the first place which they use to express their experiences in life. These guys’ blend very well creating a very powerful and mind challenging lyrical content, and rare flows that sew their concepts and spice them up touching the hearts of many. Rivln Clique mostly expresses themselves in their home language (Xhosa) with a bit of English there and there because they feel comfortable in both, their vernacular raps are intended to embrace their heritage and showcase the Xhosa culture to other cultural groups and the importance of native languages among youth .the aim is to reach a wide audience without losing the true Hip-Hop essence. 
In 2012 Rivln Clique got in partnership with Central Intelligent Artists and shot a music video for the classic single “Sondela kubawo” from their mix tape “Godsend Music” which had been played on TV programs such as One Gospel ,music lounge etc. And took the whole of South Africa by storm .The song has been topping the charts for four months consecutively, On Bush Radio (Headwarmaz show).it has also been played on national radio stations such as Mhlobo wenene, 5FM, Ukhozi FM etc.
On the 25th August 2012 they launched their first mixtape “Godsend Music” which was hosted by TV personality Aaron Moloisi. On their debut project they’ve worked with Cape Town artists like Aylo a guitarist, song writer soulful artist and a producer.Pzho and Blaq Scientist the man who produced the song called Sondela kuBawo featuring Hlengie.The group was also a part of the mixtape called words and beats by The Creative Data base which they won an award for the Best Collaboration, for the song called Unified featuring JAH and Jason Schaap. They have performed around Cape town sharing stages with some of the most decorated artists such as Ohavy (P.E),Sim (P,E) and Cape Town artist like Ma B (Driemanskap) Uzwi kantu, Sugar ,Ndlulamthi,Principlez , Naked Mynds, Reptile, Jargon Music and Poetry group called Lingua Franca. 


Pzho a.k.a “P’zholution Imbiza yespaza” real nameZolani Lucas Ponco was born on 18 February1987 in Umtata in the Eastern Cape. After moving to Cape Town with his mother,A music enthusiasts since birth, Pzho fell in love with hip-hop, which was the predominant style of music in the Khayelitsha.
Inspired by international hip-hop artist known as Busta Rhymes, P’zho harboured a dream of becoming a hip-hop musician himself. During this time in Khayelitsha he met other artists who were also grinding their teeth in a local hip hop subgenre that was later termed “Spaza”, hip-hop delivered in isiXhosa, a vernacular language mainly spoken in the Eastern Cape Province. He met Lungile Ludidi, also known asBroken Xhosain 2004, with whom he later recorded a track titled “Where’s the Law?” The song became a hit in and around Khayelitsha.
Broken Xhosa later introduced P’zho to Abongile “Extra” Kroza and Nkululeko “Matic” Hleza, and later to Bongile Patenipopularly known as“Maxhoseni”. They later formed the group LAMPITER CLAN. The group soon became a household name in Khayelitsha as they recorded hit after hit. LAMPITER CLAN did not last long because of creative differences. 
in 2007, P’zho embarked on a “……. Tour” which took him from Cape Town to Pearston, Somerset East, PortElizabeth and Mossel Bay. Later in 2007 he took part in The GOLDEN VOICE competition which he unanimously won amongst a horde of other artists. That same year,he joined the Sprite Hip-Hop Tour competitionaround South Africa, organised in conjunction withSlikour of SKWATTA KAMP fame. The mission of the tour was to get the best hip-hop artist from each of nine provinces. The Western Cape leg was won and represented by P’zho. He went to Johannesburg to perform and shared stages with popular artists like SLIKOUR, MORAFE, MAX-HOBA, TUKS, MOLEMIand many other South African artists.
Also, by this time P’zho started producing. He produced the ever-popular “Honey” and “Iziganeko” by Maxhoseni from the album “Ikhoboka lenyaniso”. He also produced “Litsolile”, “Lyrical mechanic” and “Unotshe” from Uzwi kaNtu’s album “Unendlebe nje unetyala”. He has also produced for many other local artists.
By year end in 2007, P’zho joined forces with a local artist called Madness and formed the group NAKED MYND. A year later they were joined by Slash Mind and Pro-X to make up the rest of the group.
He then produced the group’s first offer which was titled HYPER. The project was well received and they even shot a video for the track titled ‘The Definition’. It never ended there; he then signed other groups to join his new recording stable, Nunstop Records. Thesigned acts are Da MVKz and Dope Sanity..
Prior to that, most of his recordings were made at Bull Terrier Records, owned by Thabiso Dayile, aka Young Dre. Hehas also worked with Thando of Coded Records.
Besides Busta Rhymes, Pzho is inspired by his own life experiences and the streets of Khayelitsha. His long-awaited album is due early 2014.

South African born and Dimbaza bred, Number is a talented musician who practices the skill of rhyming in a fresh mix of Vernacular and English rap. Number’s music encompasses various elements from various musical backgrounds. It involves street-talk and highly influential messages in isiXhosa, English and other South African languages, yet largely comprehended lingo. Number brings a different flavor and sound, not only to Hip-Hop music but also to the music scene in general. One of his objectives is to encourage and inspire the Eastern Cape Hip-Hop community and bring it to National appeal and spotlight.

Number is not new to the music industry; he signed with Johannesburg based Rubber Ribs records in 2008 and released his debut album “East Side Flavor” in the same year.  The album did reasonably well but did not hit the expected heights. It’s hugely original and Xhosa infused distinctive sound endeared Number to fans throughout the Eastern Cape and S.A. 
His singles "Bomb", "Ndiyabulela", "Back to Earth", "No Turning Back"  and hit "Ubomi" have received extensive airplay from radio stations like TruFm, Umhlobo Wenene, Bay Fm, Fort Hare Fm and Rhodes Community Radio. His latest single #Hai_Suka ft Churx has been a hit on download with the newly released video also getting rising views on youtube and reverbnation. Hai Suka has been playlisted on 12 radio stations receiving a lot of airplay and a great response from old and new fans throughout the country.
Based in East London, Number is a regular performer at events across the Eastern Cape. He is signed under his co-owned record label Eckaeni Entertainment where he is also a gifted producer. This multi-talented, goal-driven artist has grown to embrace his own individual sense of style and rhythm. Number is a star on the rise driven to shine the light on eMpumakoloni.

Peedi Green's gift of vernacular showed itself at a young age through witty, rhythmic and metaphoric wordplay. 
These skills awarded him the honor of being named the 2004 freestyle champion for The Source Magazine Unsigned Hype/AND 1 Mix tape series as well as being crowned by DJ Bigga Rankins of Cool Runnings/ Hittmenn DJs as “Freestyle King”, due to an array of battle victories.
Both, an accomplished Songwriter, Producer and self taught musical dynamo,Peedi was fortunate to have a seat at the head of the class as he was mentored by many industry heavy weights including Professor Griff of the group, Public Enemy, and Mr. Mixx of The 2 Live Crew. 
Being signed to a label at the age of 13, he paid his dues by taking advantage of the machine he had at his disposal and tailored his craft by participating in freestyle battles up and down the East Coast, most of which he demolished.
Peedi Green taught himself not only to blend “New York Style” hip-hop with the gritty, club friendly “Southern Style”, but also to expand into beat making and production.
Peedi Green learned, and developed the use of live instruments in his music as early as age four.
He first developed an interest in drums,and taught himself how to play, and
by the time he was age nine, his Step Father began teaching him to play bass guitar.
Only four short years later he was offered a deal with a subsidiary of Luke Records.
This 14 year old was about to solidify his place in hip-hop with peers, and label mates to be such as The 2 Live Crew, Poison Clan, Tony MF Rock, and Professor Griff.
Peedi Green then known as "Bally Boy", and "Spade One",and was eventually signed to another stable on the Miami/Ft.Lauderdale music scene, 4 -Sight Records at age 16.
As a producer the multi-faceted entertainer has turned out records for the likes of  International Dancehall/Reggae, and Hip hop artist: Capelton,
Sizzla, Louie Culture, Simple Simon, Beanie Man, , Mr.Easy, Wayne Wonder, and many more.
Also he has featured on records with Young Buck, NY Hip hop legend Craig G,Dirty South legends like Birmingham J, MC Shy D, Prince Rahiem,Mr.Charlie of Young  N Restless. and Dj Mr. Mixx of
 The infamous 2 Live Crew.
Peedi Green then known as Czar Black has also given stellular performances on events such as 
two Core Dj's Retreats in Las Vegas,Nv, and Orlando,Florida which he was cosigned by record breaker, and Core Dj's Ceo Tony Neal.
To later 2010 perform during The BET Awards on a showcase in L.A hosted by Hittman Dj's Bigga Rankin sharing the stage with the likes of Nipsey Hustle,Bobby Valentino,Marcus Houston,Shiest Bub,Fonzworth Bently,and Tyga.
He received an A&R, Dj, Artist award from Digiwaxx Media, Slip n Slide Records, Po Boy Entertainment, and Street Connect Dj's

The years of the underground grind had finally run its course, and things have began to take a new turn.
He released his first commercial single "You can get it" on Down Under Entertainment/Baby Grande in 2010.

2017 he released two singles via Sugo Music Group and Unlimited Sounds titled "Magic Mike", and "City Streets"
Peedi is now in 2020 preparing to promote his newly released single's titled "LIT" and "Don't Play"  as well as upcoming mix tapes/Ep "CALIFLORIDIAN" and "Trunk Muzik 1003" released on 808Kingz Muzik/BGMG, and is currently residing in Los Angeles California,and has recently signed a new distribution deal

The Gas House Gorillas often bring the show into the audience spurring fans to sing, dance and get wild. Cutting up with each other and the crowd, the Gorillas are more than a great band, they are great entertainers as well. 

The band describes their sound as "Punk Americana".  It encompasses a broad range of styles that include Jump Blues, Rock & Roll, Swing, Cajun Music and early Punk Rock. Artists as diverse as Wynonie Harris, Groucho Marx, Sam Cooke, Fats Waller, and The Ramones all coexist in the Gorillas' musical vernacular.

The Gorillas have been burning down clubs and festivals all over the country for the past eight years. 2013 will see the release of GHG's next album on Lanark Records, as they continue to bring their genre busting brand of mayhem to an ever expanding audience all over the USA.
