Nathaniel Skinner is an electronic musician from the US, who creates dark, instrumental music. He combines computerized synths and samples in an attempt to make something remotely interesting.

His background is in classical piano which he has studied since the 1990s. Starting in seventh grade, he became interested in composition, and used his music teacher’s copy of Finale to score terrible General MIDI atrocities that still seemed to hold his attention. Competitions brought him to Los Angeles and a local summer camp to perform, prior to entering the melodic Dark Ages known as higher education.

Nathaniel is a mechanical engineer. College, grad school, and the work-a-day world known as Industry stole him away from music for too long. But he is back, and for the past few years has been updating his anachronistic knowledge and producing new aural experiences.
