We are very proud to welcome a group of high-profile artists to the Languages Music family. Felix E from Berlin has been on a steep trajectory over the past year, both as an artist and by running his own imprint, Grey Bar Hotel, together with Michael Ritter. When Felix sent us his Paradox Twin, we were immediately sold on the super sexy groove and vibe of the track. An ultra-deep, modulating sustained bass combined with layer upon layer of percussion, organic drum fills, and an unmistakable gliding lead make this a perfect showcase of Felix's feel for what works in the clubs. 

Legendary progressive house hero Gai Barone probably doesn't need much introduction anymore, as he has left his mark on the scene for ages already. Having released on the most significant labels, worked with some of the greatest artists, and constantly been featured by the biggest DJs of our genre, we were over the moon when he agreed to provide his remix without even hesitating. Gai's take on Paradox Twin can only be described as pure progressive gold - a hypnotic masterpiece. 

Hailing from Belo Horizonte, Lökust significantly upped the energy by putting his unique blend of Melodic Techno and Electronica into the remix. Oozing energy that will turn up the heat on every dancefloor.

Making her label debut, Amonita joins the Proportion roster with her beautiful “Riviera”. Describing herself as “a dreamy fairy, DJ and musician”, the best-selling Organic House artist is an ever-evolving force where “beauty, harmony and aesthetics” are found throughout her music. A regular on such celebrated imprints as All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep and Shanti Radio, “Riviera” is redolent in a beautiful and ethereal narrative that glistens through Amonita’s use of live acoustic instruments and synthesiser melodies. Easily developing over its 7-minute timeframe, a swathe of cascading melodies and counterpoint motifs create a stunning sonic smorgasbord as a whispering vocal adds a layer of magical intrigue. Backed by a deep kick, smooth sub-bass and body-shaking percussive groove of hats and shakers, Amonita’s “Riviera” is a joy to behold.

First up on remix duties, Michael Coninx is a hugely influential figure within the underground house and techno fraternity. Under his Hermanez production soubriquet, the Belgian artist has consistently found himself at the upper echelons of the Progressive, Deep and Organic House charts with a string of hits dating back to a 2009 debut on Edu Imbernon’s Eklektisch. 15 years and almost 500 production credits later, Hermanez has graced such leading imprints as Christian Smith’s Tronic, Guy J’s Lost & Found, John Digweed’s Bedrock Records and his own Mooizo, with a trademark sound supported by a DJ glitterati that includes Luciano, Loco Dice and Reboot. Another Proportion debutant, the Hermanez remix is a glorious groove-laden affair that makes elegant use of the melodic foundations of “Riviera” while combining them with a panoply of additional production material that showcases the Belgian’s unique sound. Analogue and modular arps plus melodies with huge reverb tails glide across the 7-minute piece with additional bleeps and stereo-panned effects.

The final remix sees Ranta take centre stage. An artist with a strong identity, his use of “organic instruments and Slavic melodies” creates a “story of vivid impressions to immerse the listener in a special atmosphere”. With such a powerful sonic vision, it is little wonder the Russian producer has featured on a plethora of blue-chip Organic House imprints since an early-2021 debut on RYNTH. Since then, a century of production credits have found their way onto the likes of WAYU Records, Plaisirs Sonores, Journey of the Soul and Nick Warren’s The Soundgarden, supported by such leading lights as Sebastien Leger, Tim Green, Roy Rosenfeld and Amonita herself. A third Proportion debutant now sees Ranta deliver a beautifully crafted interpretation that takes Amonita’s original and transforms it into a powerful club-friendly affair. Making intelligent use of Riviera’s melodic sweep and breathy vocal stanzas, Ranta takes elements central to the original and creates a pulsating remix that revels in a growling bassline sequence and chunky rhythmic foundation.

Madloch's Sound Avenue opens the new year by welcoming NorB to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from Hungary, Norbi Szakács aka NorB grew up listening to trance, before discovering progressive and melodic house, where his primary focus sits today. Although early into his journey as a producer, NorB already lays claim to an enviable discography. In collaboration with Canadian producer and vocalist juSt b, NorB first emerged in 2022 with ‘Different Places', a two-track showcase via John Digweed's Bedrock Records. Immediately noted for his timeless approach, the track would go on to feature on John's ‘Live in London' and ‘Quattro III' collections, while the b-side ‘Close Your Eyes', featured on the label's year end retrospective. Balance Music would then serve as home for the duo's lone 2023 production ‘At This Moment', a track which Henry Saiz would remodel for his ‘Balance 032' collection. Moving forward, 2024 would find NorB continuing his creative partnership with juSt b, with the duo signing productions to ICONYC, Stellar Fountain and Stripped Digital, the latter of which rounded out the year in impressive fashion across three well-received tracks. Now, as 2025 begins to take shape, NorB adds Sound Avenue to his resume with a track-track solo showcase ‘Dharma', alongside remixes from Andres Moris, Haen, and Drekaan.

Presentamos a Fernando Andrada, unos de los primeros artistas en ser parte de la academia.

Fernando es un DJ - Productor oriundo de Villa Mercedes, San Luis - Argentina, residiendo en Buenos Aires. Se insertó en el mundo de la música desde chico al aprender guitarra, tras conocer géneros de música electrónica como el Progressive House empezaría a estudiar Producción, tomando clases con su amigo Fran Garay que gracias a ello en Agosto del 2023 tuvo su primer lanzamiento de mano del sello AH Digital. Su estilo se basa principalmente en melodías y transiciones intensas, sin dejar de lado el groove. Sus primeros referentes han sido productores nacionales como Sebastian Busto, Fernando Ferreyra y Ezequiel Arias e internacionales como Guy J, Roy Rosenfeld y Guy Mantzur.
