A su vez, logró editar varias de sus producciones en sellos como Subsist, Fabrik Music, Detox Electronics, Solemne Records, Al3 Movement, ROOM y Concepto Hipnotico, esto sumado a su esfuerzo le ha permitido el apoyo de artistas como Ben Sims, Jeroen Search, The Zenker Brothers, Slam, A.Paul, Dax J, Tripeo, Laurent Garnier, Richie Hawtin, Pushmann, Subradeon, Abstract Division, Nihad Tule, Jon Hester, OHM, D&S, Lag, VIL, Opuswerk, Blue Hour, NX1, Thomas Hessler, HD Substance, Arnaud Le Texier, Korben Nice, Kessell, Hertz Collision, Francois X, MTD, Gotshell, Merino y El Choop.

Unique and mesmerising deep techno from Magna Pia

Huseyin Evirgen returns to @soma for his 4th solo release under his Magna Pia alias with the stunningly constructed "Tocharian" EP. The classically trained musician always delivers heart & soul throughout his Magna Pia releases, taking the listener on a journey with every track.

Tocharian Sex swells with resonating and staccato synths hooks that guide you through swirling, glacial tones and shimmering percussion. Prester John leads with reverberating bells like tones than intensify throughout and once again, magna Pia’s delicate percussive elements work in tandem beautifully. Ur-David delivers a sinister tone and unnerving synths drone and swell, melding together in a unearthly cacophony. Closing out the EP is the minimalistic and hypnotically elemental The Beauty Of Loulan. Modulating synths give grace and sway as beautifully crafted drones and undertones bring an epic finality to this closing piece

Methodical is the newest venture from Italy’s MTD who introduces his latest alias with debut album titled Focus. He is also the owner of the seasoned label Sonntag Morgen and as an artist, has seen his music on imprints such as Animal Farm, Blackrod, Affekt, and Gynoid Audio.

This eleven track pack is nothing short of total excellence, with diverse ideas, yet solid club functionality. Familiar and new is difficult to achieve for any artist and we hold him in high esteem with no sign of filler, which is hard to find in the abundance of the digital world. Proving his production pedigree and consistently hitting the spot, this album is essential to real techno lovers.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the track “Köln” that gets into some mental pleasure with its hypnotic techniques. Using spacey drones and wonky modular stabs to create a moving and morphing sonic masterclass of exceptional analogue beauty.
