Welcome to Episode 181 on Poisonoise Music with this mix coming in from German based artist Deemkeyne.
He is definitely one of the most prolific producers around at the moment, and has some superb releases of his own on excellent
labels such as Superordinate, Insectorama and Melotonin to name a few.  There are also some wonderful mixes from the man
himself on his page so be sure to check these out.
This set sees Deemkeyne in fine form again, featuring nearly 100 minutes of warm and rich deep and dubby techno.

The [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] label proudly presents the conclusion of an exciting musical journey — First Light, Vol. 2, the second and final part of the collaborative mini-album by electronic musicians Seabra Monkey (@seabra_monkey), The Venusian (@the_venusian), and Francesco Tamburrano (@ft-dubtechno). After the successful launch of the first volume, these three sonic masters have reunited to offer listeners an even deeper immersion into the realms of dub techno and melodic vibrations.

First Light, Vol. 2 features four original tracks and two remixes, where each artist infuses unique elements of their style, revealing new layers of the musical concept.

Original Tracks:
 Seabra Monkey once again opens the sonic canvas with Evening Dew, continuing the theme of the transition from day to night, creating soft yet rich rhythms that evoke the setting sun and the calm of the night.
 Francesco Tamburrano's Serum offers a deep and powerful composition, filling the space with heavy bass and meditative sounds, much like a chemical reaction merging with the atmosphere.
 The Venusian adds a philosophical touch with Doubt and Ask, inviting the listener to ponder the essence of existence, navigating through pulsating sonic vibrations and atmospheric textures.
 Seabra Monkey closes the original section of the album with First Light, logically completing the day’s cycle and leading us to the threshold of a new day. This track represents the dawn, where light slowly emerges through sound and melody.

Remixes:
 Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer (@enercube and @x_fr) delivers a new version of Francesco Tamburrano’s Serum, adding depth and textural complexity through their signature style and unique sonic solutions. The remix, titled Wavetable Reconstruct, takes the original to new heights, offering a more mechanical and industrial sound.
 Seabra Monkey adds his unique touch to The Venusian’s Doubt and Ask in the remix Freak Chord Edit. This track gains a whole new dimension with rhythmic accents and chords that make it more experimental and distinctive.

First Light, Vol. 2 is the final note of this collaborative mini-album, showcasing the musical evolution of these talented artists and concluding their sonic exploration. The release also features contributions from special guest artists, including Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer and their alter ego project, ODP. This release not only continues the atmospheric and rhythmic journey begun in the first part, but also highlights the deep connection between the artists and their sonic vision.

Krystian Shek's Promise features two original productions from himself alongside with reworks from Yagya and grad_u. Milly James returns to the label, lending her amazing voice to a release that bridges atmospheric depth with driving rhythm.
'Glow & Shine' locks into a hypnotic groove from the outset, its analog warmth and weighty percussion forming a solid foundation. A crisp snare and hi-hat pattern provide an irresistible swing, while chords and vocals land together in perfect sync, draped in a rich layer of delay. Spacey breakdowns allow the ride cymbal to subtly emerge, giving the track an evolving energy. The closing moments strip things back, with the chords guiding everything to a natural finish. 'Better That Way' shifts into a more melodic space, balancing intricate drum programming with an emotive vocal delivery. The initial rhythmic stutter adds a unique touch before settling into a flowing beat. As layers build, the chords and voice intertwine seamlessly, evoking a deep, contemplative feel. The breakdown smooths everything out, allowing the track to breathe before a striking bassline shift in the final section brings fresh momentum. The last ambient passage is particularly stunning, offering a moment of reflection.
The legendary Icelandic producer Yagya creates his interpretation of 'Glow & Shine' sees it drifting into dreamlike territory, wrapping the original’s elements in a lush, aquatic atmosphere. More of a song than a club tool, it glides effortlessly, capturing a serene, almost weightless mood. On the flip side, grad_u reshapes 'Better That Way' into a crisp, rolling dub excursion. Airy chords swirl above a commanding groove, with well-placed melodic flourishes adding an elegant touch. The arrangement continuously morphs, deepening its hypnotic pull.
Raytek’s remix of 'Glow & Shine' injects a sharper rhythmic intensity, pushing the track into darker, more driving territory. The vocal treatment becomes a focal point, cleverly reshaped to make the singing the true hook. Meanwhile, Noosa Sound System takes 'Better That Way' into stripped-down, immersive terrain. The off-kilter drum work and layered percussion create a mesmerizing flow, while the winding structure makes it a DJ-friendly tool.
This well-rounded collection that explores multiple shades of dub techno, this release has both dancefloor energy and introspective depth. With a strong roster of contributors, it delivers a blend of classic textures and fresh perspectives.

The 135th entry into Greyscale's fantastic Mood Series introduces OOK, a new German producer duo making their debut with Story Of The Untold. Across seven tracks, OOK delivers a precise and measured approach to dub techno, balancing atmosphere and rhythm while maintaining an introspective, hypnotic quality.
Opening with 'The False Mirror', the EP sets a subdued yet steady pace. Its quick beat and dub roots establish a foundation that feels neither dark nor uplifting but firmly in between—a restrained prelude that hints at the journey ahead. 'Story Of The Untold' follows, deepening the atmosphere with ominous undercurrents and techy percussive elements. Its evolving echoes, especially in the third section, add a layer of suspense, making it a strong follow-up to the opener. 'Trying To Get an ID' introduces a shifting rhythmic structure, with a particularly engaging evolution around the three-minute mark that keeps the listener locked in. 'Gnarly Dayz' moves into a more spacious realm, focusing on subtle chord interplay, while 'The Home of No Code' builds tension through a dynamic relationship between its rhythmic and harmonic elements The EP's later stages take a more introspective turn. 'Why Places Become Ugly' amplifies the chord work and uses breaks effectively to create breathing space, lending a more emotive feel. Finally, 'Mark Of Shame' serves as a fitting closer—an ambient, almost meditative piece where chords stretch endlessly, gently dissolving into the ether.
Story Of The Untold strength lies in its execution. OOK demonstrates a seasoned grasp of the genre’s nuances, crafting a debut that’s well-suited for both deep listening and subtle integration into a mix. It’s a strong entry in the Mood Series and a promising start for an artist worth watching.
