En nuestra cuadragésima entrega tenemos el agrado de presentar a Ohrwert, tambien conocido como Arjen Schat. Arjen ha estado activo en el campo de la música electrónica bajo numerosos apodos desde finales de los 90.
Su aclamada serie “Reduct” lo hizo destacar como uno de los principales productores de dub techno de los Países Bajos, y todavía se mantiene firme con un flujo constante de lanzamientos y remixes en sellos de todo el mundo. Además del dub techno, Arjen ha estado adaptando el sonido de la 'Berlin-school' a su propia identidad sonora única, junto con su cantidad cada vez mayor de música ambiental y de drones meditativos. After 15 years of absence he started last year making music again. Returning to the roots where he started. Releasing on Mosaic with Anamnesis and Submerged ( with collaboration of Steve O' Sullivan). last month he made his debute on Baum records with is EP LÄRCHENBAUM.

And now his latest podcast will be the 200th chapter! He created a mix with his tracks that where released on DeepChord Records between the 90's -'00.

Deep Electronics Podcast # 200 - Mike Schommer

As with all of my mixes, but perhaps more so than any other... this one is a deep bastard - I'm talking "it would take 2 hours for a big fucking ship to strike the basin" deep.

A selection of older and newer material from the great ocean of techno. Opening with some glowing, deep and melodic sounds, we traverse through the razor sharp sonics of Quantec (a track from his new album, <a href="http://www.discogs.com/Quantec-1000-Vacuum-Tubes/release/3644316" target="_blank">1000 Vacuum Tubes</a>) and the minimal mystique of Grad_U to some blissed out and sublime electronic dub tracks including a classic cut from Rhythm & Sound.

A sequence of zoned-out atmospheric tech house brings this mix home with some very special new tracks on some of my favourite labels, including Telrae, Illian Tape and Echocord before we close up with an absolutely timeless track, "Evil Dub" taken from Swayzak's 1998 classic <a href="http://www.discogs.com/Swayzak-Snowboarding-In-Argentina/master/64157" target="_blank">Snowboarding In Argentina LP</a>.
