Armin has been into techno for over 30 years. Started DJing in the 90s. He is still Hobby-DJing, mainly with Vinyl. Since the early 2000 years active in the scene in and around Erlangen / Nuremberg (Germany). Member of local non-Profit Electronic Party Collective called "STRONG SIGNALS". The first  own produced releases came out in 2022 on the Greyscale label.

The first is a grandious ambient number that sounds heavenly while the last featured song is equally stunning as almost a reprise of a previous. So...I take a deep breath now...because this is something so very special to me what I am able to introduce to you now...since a certain time a nice ongoing connection of music love has build to  Chris a.k.a. Noosa Soundsystem from Australia. And now he has built a set especially for MLD!! Can't believe that this is real now...he is such a talented producer and those who know about his releases find a very unique and deep sound in his tracks...also his fast developement is amazing and very inspiring for me...I'm curious about his process in future!
so here's  what Chris himself says about this special mix:
"Rather than opting to beat mix a dub techno set, I wanted to create something special for this guest mix - and in so doing - maybe share a deeper insight into the sonic aesthetic that informs the Noosa Sound System project. Taking a deep dive into my personal archives for this session, we navigate some pretty abstract long-form ambient territory in places. Whilst there is also some re workings of material from the Beyond the Sphere album that released last year on Greyscale. 
Normally some of these more experimental recordings might sit on the hard drive, as sample material or sound design references. However putting them together into a different narrative that wouldn't usually eventuate, has been a super interesting exercise leading to this exclusive set.
I hope you enjoy the session as much as I did, and if you listen carefully, you'll hear someone present during recording, loose it at one point as we start spinning a radio on the old 1200 Mk2. I left this in the final edit because it captures the fun to be had when we don't take our time in the studio too seriously! All that remains now is to express my thanks, much love and respect to Sai for the invite to MLD, and of course to you for listening - whoever you are - please don't be a stranger!

We've meet with him so many times on same labels, so it is natural that his next opus "Dub Iterations" took place on Greyscale.
The album itself will hypnotize you .. A journey to the deepest. Perfect for late night listening.

Sephirot’s debut on Greyscale, Fargazing, is a stunning exploration of sound that gracefully balances synthetic textures with organic atmospheres. Across ten tracks, the UK-based artist produces a creative sound design, crafting an album rich in depth, spaciousness and emotional resonance.
The journey begins with 'Chúl', where a broken beat emerges from a dense static interference, gradually unveiling luminous chords and a clever rhythmic interplay. This introduction to the album immediately shows how it thrives on subtle evolution and intricate layering. 'Deep [SEM]', a dub techno gem, has a melodic beauty and progression to it. Its harmonious interplay of evolving melodies creates a lush, layered soundscape that feels like a serene paradise. 'FP/B6' leans into a techier groove with a tight beat and organic landscape, giving the track a natural vibrancy. 'Midnight, Our' is a standout, with its shimmering melodies and subliminal bassline revealing their full intent in the latter half. The track’s final moments become a breathtaking crescendo, leaving you wanting more. 'Holding Patter(n)' serves as a contemplative intermission, blending orchestral tones with dense delays before transitioning into a whimsical conclusion. The latter, in particular, radiates positivity and hope with breathtaking chord stabs and a expansive energy. 'Ellipsoidal' deepens the immersion, constructing scenic depth and an enveloping sense of distance. The album closes on a dreamlike note with 'Shon', blending angelic tones and IDM-inspired rhythms. Its wistful conclusion feels like the end of an extraordinary journey.
Fargazing is a brilliant debut for Sephirot. Throughout this album, the artist consistently shows their ability to create emotionally moving dub techno. It’s a deeply rewarding listen that invites repeated exploration. The label’s dedication to releasing exceptional music from global talents continues to be a trademark for themselves.

For Our 16th trip around the musical cosmos we welcome to the controls a German artist who we have been a fan of for some time. With Releases on some of the top dub techno labels including , Greyscale, OHM Series and Vuo Records, we are proud to be able to host this mix from Armin Bender.

Armin is an artist who has been involved in the dub techno scene for 30 years, he is a passionate Vinyl collector, DJ and producer. An understated artist who goes about his work in a quiet and professional manner. 

This is summed up in his short but sweet biography - 

"Mind rave, goose bumps, deepness, groove, a smile on the face. Thats what its all about... No more words necessary, no history, no credits, no stereotypes, just the music that I love, preferably on vinyl... Peace!"
