This project began as an exercise to write a song that would be eligible for curated genre playlisting. But for some reason I have a mental block when writing for specific genres, the resulting track is close to the antithesis of what I set out to accomplish. Starts out with a slow half step bass track, but... I quickly reimagine the track as a dance floor arrangement, followed by a melodic synth interlude, back into a dance arrangement and then schizophrenically into a reprise of the intro. 🙃 I hope ya'll enjoy it.

Synopsis:
IO encounters the "Paragon,” a being of light that bears a familiar resemblance. Residing within a majestic shining white palace, this creature transcends any form of spoken language and instead chooses to communicate with telepathic abilities. It shares wisdom and reveals the universal truths of the past, present, and future. After an exchange of information, a common ground was found. Recognizing that a significant time-lapse had passed before the arrival, the Paragon, with a sigh, encouraged IO to move on without haste.

Paragon is the 5th of 10 tracks for the IO-01 album. The song intends to create the setting for this “shining white palace” as IO makes its way through the long corridors of perfection and excellence before reaching the highest level of this domain. Midway, the music changes to reveal meaning and truths, then ends with a sense of understanding and clarity.

The song intends to push the listener deeper into a gateway of sounds filled with a surge of energy. It is a time for IO to enter a moment of profound transformation.

Greysign encourages the listener to create their narrative while experiencing the music with great-sounding headphones or speakers and to listen to the track without interruption.
