MalLabel Music is back with another groovin' stack of brass, class and all that ass shakin' goodness from Oakland's finest Swing-Hop connoisseur, My Pet Monster. 

Uplifting, fun and funky fresh vibes, jam packed into one EP with 7 tracks in all to dip the ladies to. Southern Hospitality has the tender loving care your dance floor needs to escape. Away to a time where the jazziest grooves laid waste to the cares of the day through double bass, big band mayhem. Dip, jive, swing and hop to joyous respite while My Pet Monster fills the place with unwitting open mouth smiles via 'Tennessee Tumbleweed' and the OrkidZ collaboration '18th & Vine'. 'Letters From Istanbul' is a break from the americas with some hoppin' arabic Mid-Tempo vibes. Meanwhile, the twang and blues treatment gets dropped all over the title track with some fat glitchy business. 

Joining in on the festivities and showing some of those old school family values with some hospitality of their own are some of the continents finest. Also from Oakland, h00zy drops the ethereal treatment on 'Southern Hospitality' with some stylishly unorthodox and beautiful trap styles. Also from the Deep City Culture trifecta, Orkidz makes another appearance to drop the big room beats on 'Letter From Istanbul' and layers some phat bounce over massive atmospherics. Finally, Canadian bounce specialist Defunk drops the twerk treatment on the title track like nobody else can with an 808 you've never seen so funky. Over the last four years, LA-based producer and DJ, Getter has established himself as one of the best rising acts in American made bass music. He's released a number of styles from dubstep to trap and drum & bass on Rottun, Firepower Records, and more recently OWSLA with the excellent "Head Splitter" single and a remix of Carmada's "Maybe". 

Following a new rework of spooky black's "reason" and another more experimental release with his latest single, "The Heat", 2015 is starting to look like Getter's most diverse and expansive production year yet. Check our interview with Getter along with the MiniMix tracklist below.

Breakbeat Paradise Recordings is very pound to welcome back one of the Ghetto Funk scenes finest producers: B-Side for the second installment of his Party Bangers series. This time he’s teamed up with another heavyweighter – BBP’s very own BadboE to line up 4 big tunes designed for maximum dancefloor destruction!

Party Bangers Vol. 2 takes us on a musical journey through different areas of electronic funk: from the peak time ghetto funk bangers – over Reggae grooves, electro swing to end up with a disco anthem. The musicality plays a big role on these tunes and its easy to recognize both producers signature through-out this EP.        

The EP kicks off with a big electric funk bangers Funk Me Again, which takes elements from a classic funk jam and mixes it with some J5 party rap in a progressive ghetto funk arrangement. Rewind it Back takes on some catchy reggae summer grooves and slams on some big beats and wobble basslines. Do You Wanna Ride flips it around with some electro swing vibes to makes sure the party keeps on riding. Last but not least its time for B-Side & BadboE to Get Busy on an extended disco anthem. 7 mins of groovy disco goodness.

California based funk magician, Grid Division, has been rockin’ and poppin’ dance floors since his 2016 release “Groove Patrol”. As a regulator of the groove, Grid Division has created a well developed sound that never ceases to evolve and engulf new styles and influences. From hip-hop to glitch-hop, funk to bass, Grid Division’s sound has something every party rockin’ patron can enjoy. Over the last three years, Grid Division has been beaming beats onto dance floors from Canada to the East Coast.

In 2017, Grid Division released “The Low Down” on Westwood Recordings, a Canadian based label founded by Nick Middleton of The Funk Hunters.
