Joton is synonymous with dark, futuristic, and sensitive techno, seamlessly mixed with the precision of a surgeon. His sound is industrial, analog, and mechanical—a pure distillation of techno's essence. Joton’s style is physical, modular, and intensely direct, creating an exciting and timeless auditory experience.

With over two decades dedicated to the underground electronic scene, Joton has built a career that is both inspiring and influential. Based in León, Spain, he has meticulously crafted a distinctive style of techno, blending modern innovation with classic sensibilities.

As the founder of Newrhythmic Records, Joton has championed the work of countless national and international artists for over 20 years. His passion and vision have helped establish the label as a prominent force in the techno world. Joton’s global reach as a DJ has taken him to over 30 countries, where he has performed on some of the world’s most iconic stages.

A prolific artist, Joton's work has been showcased on renowned labels including Illegal Alien, Fabric, Modularz, Symbolism, Planet Rhythm, Raw Raw, Dynamic Reflection, Quartz, Odd Even, and Skryptöm. His tracks have garnered support from legendary figures such as Ben Klock, DVS1, Rødhåd, Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Surgeon, Truncate, and Go Hiyama.

In 2015, Joton released his debut album, Casting Out Nines, to critical acclaim, presenting it across ten countries on three continents. Two years later, he embraced his analog roots with the album R3silient. 2018 saw the release of Antioquia on Odd Even and Extreme Measures on RAW RAW, further solidifying his reputation as a leading figure in techno. His most recent album, Hikikomori (2021), was born out of his interactive production courses, reflecting themes of isolation during the pandemic.

In addition to his production and performance work, Joton is a respected educator. Since 2010, he has shared his knowledge through collaborations with leading brands like Arturia, Parallel Festival, Microfusa, Intec and The Bass Valley, as well as international institutions such as Beatworx Academy in India.

Joton’s performances have left an indelible mark on some of the world’s most celebrated venues, including  Tresorin Berlin, REX in Paris, Basement in New York, Corsica Studios in London, Grelle Forelle in Vienna, Propagandain Moscow, Dommune in Tokyo, Vault Sessions in Amsterdam, Tunnel in Pereira, Razzmatazz in Barcelona, Garein Porto, Infra in Boston, Under Club in Buenos Aires, Drugstore in Belgrade, Fabrik in Madrid, Technosnobs in Phoenix, among others.

Struktur Limited is a newly founded sub-label of the renowned, german techno label Struktur. It is not in any way ment to compete with the established sound of Struktur. The idea is rather to give artists, who create hard and experimental industrial techno on modular synthesizers, a haven. Struktur Limited likes to contrast the armies of laptop producers, who are using the always-the-same samples and the omnipresent preset-culture, through uncompromising machine music. The main focus lies on industrial and atonal sound design, because there is already enough "beautiful" music around. To put it in label-founder Christian's words: "I want absolutely nothing harmonic on my Limited!". This is not only expressed in the music, but also in the visual concepts of the releases, which are kept in a minimalistic and dark style. To start out ,all releases will be digital, but who knows what the future holds... So if you are into technoid music, way apart from the taste of the masses, this is just for you!

Struktur Limited ist ein neugegründetes Sub-Label des geschätzten, deutschen Techno-Labels Struktur. Dabei soll in keinster Weise mit dem bekannten Struktur-Sound konkurriert werden. Der Gedanke ist es vielmehr, Künstlern, die harten und experimentellen Industrial-Techno erschaffen und hauptsächlich mit Modularsystemen arbeiten, eine Plattform zu bieten. Struktur Limited möchte sich von der Masse der Laptop-Produzenten mit den immergleichen abgeschmackten Samples und der allgegenwärtigen, uninspirierten Presetkultur abheben, um einzigartige und kompromisslose Maschinenmusik auf die Menschheit loszulassen. Der Fokus liegt auf industriellem und atonalem Sounddesign, denn es gibt schon genug “schöne” Musik. Mit den Worten des Labelgründers Christian: “Ich möchte absolut nichts Harmonisches auf meinem Limited!” Das drückt sich nicht nur in der Musik, sondern auch im graphischen Konzept aus, welches minimalistisch und düster gehalten ist. Vorläufig wird nur digital released, aber wer weiß was die Zukunft bringt ... Also: Wenn du auf technoide Musik jenseits des Massengeschmacks stehst, bist du hier an der richtigen Adresse!
