Presenting 'Décomposition', the second EP from Le Comte Champêtre on Outtallectuals, – an avant-garde sonic exploration that delves into the intricate tapestry of nature's transformative processes. Inspired by the organic decay of living matter and the intricate interplay of microorganisms, this project fuses elements of experimental electronic music with the raw essence of the natural world.

Embark on a journey through the undergrowth with tracks like "Entomophtora," "Histoplasma," and "Leucochloridium Paradoxum," where the pulsating rhythms mimic the unseen movements of decay and rebirth. Dive deeper into the cellular realm with "Meiosis" and "Mitosis," where intricate soundscapes intertwine with complex grooves, echoing the constant flux of life.

Yet, amidst the darkness of humus and forest floors, there is an undeniable beauty – a beauty captured in tracks like "Myiasis."; in this EP, folk-esque compositions emerge like delicate fungi, weaving a haunting melody that speaks to the cyclical nature of existence.

With a blend of world music instruments, intricate sound design, and a dash of folk inspiration, "Decomposition" invites listeners to immerse themselves in the symbiotic relationship between creation and decay. It's a testament to the transformative power of nature, where even in the darkest corners, life finds a way to flourish.

griff is one of Australia’s leading purveyors of highly varied and unique bass music.  Since 2009, griff has created many LPs, EPs and remixes, released on renowned labels such as Omelette, Addictech, Enig'Matik Records, Slurp Music and Buxton Records.  

As an assistant engineer at Sing Sing Studios in Melbourne, Australia he worked on albums by The Cat Empire, The Jon Butler Trio, Blue King Brown, The Dirty Three and many more. 

Playing his original compositions and DJing all manner of styles and genres he has toured the world moving crowds at festivals such as Shambhala Music Festival in Canada, Boom in Portugal, Symbiosis and Burning Man in the US and Rainbow Serpent Festival in his home country of Australia. 

He enjoys laughing and is uncomfortable talking in the 3rd person.
