SunBeatz, the world’s premier Drum & Bass holiday in Ibiza returns to the party island for the fifth year in a row. Featuring an all star line up of A-list DJs and MC’s, Sunbeatz takes over Ibiza again on Sept 14 - 21 2014.

Launched in 2010, Sunbeatz has firmly established itself as an essential part of the the Drum & Bass calendar and a focal point of the Ibiza scene. Renown for their hugely popular Goin Ape at the Zoo events, Boat Parties and club nights at some of the island’s biggest clubs like Sankeys and Gatecrasher. They are celebrating their 5th year anniversary with the Sunbeatz
Summer Mix Series. Each week in the run up to the event they will give away an exclusive mix from one of the acts on the line up at this years event.
This week’s mix comes from the one and only Serial Killaz. The second the need hits a serial killaz record you know it’s them.  Rabble-rousing ragga vocals, bubbling bouncy bass, cut throat beats, undiluted positive vibes: to have a distinctive sound in today’s talent-packed game is a rare, rare asset.  But with two careers that can be traced back to the earliest stages of rave, what do you expect? 

They are Jungle’s own trojan horse; every kilo of their success can be put down to their well-chiselled sound: At a time where artists are trying every genre under the sun, Tera and Vital Elements have stuck to their dub pistols amassing respect from all corners of the scene - receiving regular support from the likes of BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe, Toddla T and Skream, they’ve also been commissioned for official remix duties for Nas and Damian Marley, and their music has even been featured on Soccer AM. 

When they aren’t touring internationally, from Canada to Croatia, Boomtown to Outlook, they are usually knee deep in the studio.   We are very pleased they found time to make this very special Exclusive mix for us.

This is "Summer Dust" a relaxing melodic journey. The first ideas I had for this track were at a slower tempo, but I decided to create a more upbeat drum and bass track still holding on to the soft mellow ideas I had at the beginning.

griff is one of Australia’s leading purveyors of highly varied and unique bass music.  Since 2009, griff has created many LPs, EPs and remixes, released on renowned labels such as Omelette, Addictech, Enig'Matik Records, Slurp Music and Buxton Records.  

As an assistant engineer at Sing Sing Studios in Melbourne, Australia he worked on albums by The Cat Empire, The Jon Butler Trio, Blue King Brown, The Dirty Three and many more. 

Playing his original compositions and DJing all manner of styles and genres he has toured the world moving crowds at festivals such as Shambhala Music Festival in Canada, Boom in Portugal, Symbiosis and Burning Man in the US and Rainbow Serpent Festival in his home country of Australia. 

He enjoys laughing and is uncomfortable talking in the 3rd person.
