🔥 Honoring what’s rising with the calling out/calling in that is the Black Lives Matter movement, this story leads with the fierce beauty of Honey Dijon’s “Thunda” & “House”. Mood II Swing’s classic “Do It Your Way” features the legendary voice of Barbara Ann Teer (founder of Harlem's National Black Theatre), Shermanology’s “Voices” anchors the vibe, and Kira Divine on “Chameleon” takes us home.   

💃🏻 This was originally performed in June at the peak of our summer solstice Ring of Fire solar eclipse day. We streamed from Monkey Loft’s rooftop with DJs from Uniting Souls, Hunt & Gather & Viva Recordings, raising funds for the venue staff. Thanks to the crews for bringing me in, and the friends & fam I felt with me on the deck.
