After producing Psytrance and Progressive for nearly two decades, Ralph comes back to his roots as a guitar player, percussionist, and computer musician who combines electronic elements with natural instruments and field recordings to create gently evolving soundscapes and rhythms.

The concept for this album was born from a visionary experience in 2014 and for 5 years sat in the archives of memory simply as a vision. In late 2018 this vision gained new meaning and the journey of crystalizing the formless into sound began. 

For 5 years this work of art grew and evolved as the inner story informed the outer process, and after a deep and profound, and often challenging journey, ‘Learning to Breathe’ found its way into music. This album is a story that brings us us face to face with the lost, forgotten, and hidden parts of our early years as we reconcile our human story, honor the journey, grieve and release.

This epic, almost 3-hour-long, journey through different realms of progressive chill-out, slow trance and ambient music was carefully selected by AstroPilot.

"It's been a while Suze - you're looking more beautiful than ever" we utter, audibly nervously as the door slams open off it's hinges, nothing but blinding white light and the sonic textures of her most recent offering gradually crescendoing and filling up the room. "JEANS" she booms,  shattering the glass from our hands. "errm, are they new?" we stutter - the music now growing inhumanly loud. The light is vacuumed back through the door, the room is now silent and dully lit - a strange square shaped package is left in the middle of the room. We tear it open - "Ah, it's Jeans' new EP out on Whos Susan".

After all that drama, we put the record on and chose which track to share with you. This was X-Coast's beastly remix, which is about as gagging for 'tha cloob' as your 18 year old self, wearing your older brothers black winkle pickers draped with blue raw denim, foying of a Paco Rabanne gift set. The party is here everyone. Thanks once again, Suze.
