Somehow we got the feeling, we should honor this. Why so ever, lets just do it, because it is beautiful, beacuse our music that we record and produce is also just a binary code, transforming over and over again, from our fingers on the synths, from the mic to the mixer, from the mixer into space, back on black plastics or bluetoothing through your walls directly in your ear...and this just because there is a 1 and a 0. This is why we celebrate, to say thank you to these magic numbers. Without these two little friends we would drum our techno with bones in analog caves. Naked. Oh Wait...that sounds great...the URSL Cave Raves. Mmmmh...well we will keep you in the loop on this new project. Voyeur Music is back with a bumper 15-track collection that mixes up new and exclusive music from in-house artists, big names like DJ Gregory and fresh talents all carefully A&Red by the label head, Fabrice Dayan. This vibrant new collection is packed with red hot tracks that have been getting high-profile plays in Ibiza all summer, and now they now come together on one essential collection that drops when the season ends. Amongst the many standout tracks is Dayan's 'The Power of Now.' It is a cinematic set opener inspired by the introspection of the pandemic years. Its piano break expresses doubt but then turns to hope with a high-energy “keep-going” feeling. After the uplifting '6AM' from Made in TLV it is the epic return of DJ Gregory after years of silence. The legendary house artist serves up a fantastically fat edit of 'Gandhi' from Slash & Doppe which has already been getting hammered by Blondish and is an instant classic. 'Midnight Jab' by Antony Toga is a ready-made summer jam with cold beats yet warm steel drums and 'Maybe It’s Love' by the Solomun and Agoria-backed French duo Mozaik and is a track about people who have problems expressing their emotions. Israel's Dor Danio proves why he is a king of the indie dance scene with 'Addis Ababa Vs Estroe' and Klement Bonelli goes for the body and soul with 'So Sad.' The new Scorpios Mykonos resident Adassyia re-invents the spiritual scene with her oriental western production 'Jungle Karma', then self-proclaimed studio freak Thousand Fingers offers a big dance floor weapon 'Berserker' and Veednem and Borey prove why they are bright new melodic techno stars from the East with 'All You Need' and 'Control'. Greek scene mainstay Junior Pappa has been defining the scene for a decade and his 'Medusa' is a spicy production that brings a steamy touch. The superb 'Substances' by Wielki brings a dusty, sweaty rave vibe designed for big techno festivals, Tomy Wahl offers a perfect set-closing breaks track in 'All Night Long' complete with plenty of emotion and Yermak's 'Major Minor' is a sunrise soundtrack with both dark drums and bright synths.

The Twenty Fourth Chapter continues to be revealed as Swiss-Chilean artist Masaya proudly announces her debut full length album, Picking Up The Pieces. The 11 track affair is an accomplished listen from start to finish.

Masaya’s whole life is music. As boss of her own label Mina Records, she is a real underground star who has served up many great releases over the last ten years. This latest and greatest opus is a particularly personal one. Three years in the making and influenced by the birth of her son it is an album which draws on a rich range of musical references, truly 11 stories in sound.

Starting with the atmospheric and beatless Walking Dad, the album sucks you in right away. From there The Backstage picks up the pace with a serene deep house groove featuring plenty of soulful chords and sombre moods. Agnostic is brilliantly sparse and deep, with well-crafted drums and cosmic synth patterns unfolding up top.

Throughout the album, there is often a firmly rooted drum groove that keeps things locked to a late night dance floor vibe, and Haumea and Picture are perfect examples of that. Haunting vocal chops, shadowy strings and angelic keys colour pieces like Flow of Tears, Justin Loves and Inside, before the closing trio of Innocence, with its downbeat bass notes and wallowing vocal whispers, Borderline, littered with cowbells and synth drones, and Time Goes Fast, an optimistic closer complete with dreamy female vocals that leaves you feeling enlightened.

Overall then this is a sensational and absorbing album that really showcases Masaya’s fantastic sense of mood and groove, leaving us excited for the album remixes package set for later in the year. Her story continues on Chapter 24.
