Soulection recently collaborated with Team Supreme (https://soundcloud.com/beatteamsupreme) for their weekly beat cyphers and put out one of the best volumes to date. Soulection Co-founder Joe Kay chose the sample 'Add the Bassline' from the very talented vocalist/producer Jordan Rakei who hopefully puts out a release with Soulection in the coming months. One of our heavy hitters Evil Needle thankfully participated in the beat cypher and created this amazing remix that ended up being so good that he had to extend it from 1 minute to a complete track. We couldn't help but share this track with you and give you an idea of what's to come.

This times journey has brought me from Shanghai to Thailand, for a week off, a holiday during Christmas in the middle of the rainforest to recharge my battery. Spending New Years in Verbiers, Switzerland and after that returning home and doing some gigs in the Virgin Islands and the US. Returning home doesn’t necessarily mean ‘feeling home’. I always try to make myself feel at home wherever I am. If it is a lousy hotelroom or a place on an airport cause for some reason there is a 6 hour delay. Feeling home in my own place, or feeling at home at a friend’s place. I always try to make myself feel at home…..and again, it is not always possible but feeling home is a feeling I so much love. Cause it brings the best out in myself and so I assume in everyone if he/she has the same home feeling.
