Tokyo techno maven Risa Taniguchi unveils “When I See You” EP on the formidable Second State. No stranger to the Berlin label, Taniguchi released her “How We Dance Again” EP just last year, in addition to a number of contributions to the label’s compilation series.

Warped synth keys, claps, flurried hi-hats and a muffled kick welcome you into “Mute Everything”. Chopping, skittish percussions cut and jolt across the heaving bass, simulating a frantic energy. A rolling 303 line dances with brightly shining synth notes. Towards the close, the synths are stripped away and the percussion takes over once again, with only the subdued acid and bass line at play.

We are glad to welcome the mighty Sleeparchive to our family. The Berliner gives us two original tracks plus two remixes by label boss Oscar Mulero. 
"Window 057" is an arpeggiated tool made of a crazy synth sequence, shuffled hats and subtle kick drums in a constantly moving structure.
"Window 092" starts with a massive bass drum accompanied by synthetic bleeps and noises that soon are joined by repetitive sequences carrying the flow.
Oscar Mulero's remix for "Window 057" is a cleaner approach to the original, less shuffled on the rhythms but with a lot more movement on the arpeggiated synth lines.
The "Window 092" remake slows down the pressure on behalf of a more liquid approach on the drums, and is more reverberated and deep. Oscar adds more percussive elements and puts the bleeps away using the main sequence as the centre of the arrangement

Originally released in 1993 Love Stimulation stands among the most influential works by Humate, the Hamburg-based project. This release gathers all official versions and remixes, including the celebrated Paul van Dyk “Love Mix”, co-produced with Frerichs, a version that became a defining club moment of the decade and reached #18 in the UK Singles Chart in 1999.

Through the mid 90s, Humate enhanced the sound of Superstition Records with forward looking releases like 3.1, The Sound, Choose Life and Vivid. Love Stimulation marks the peak of that creative run, a track that continues to appear in “all time classic” lists and still moves dancefloors over 30 years later.

Pär Grindvik has been a central figure in the Swedish electronic scene since the 90s as record store owner, label manager and producer. In his artistic career Pär has released music across a plethora of acclaimed electronic labels, including a string of hits on his own Stockholm LTD imprint as well as Drumcode, with frequent collaborator Hardcell. Pär’s recent output has seen him contribute music to labels such as Semantica, Marbacka, Sinister and Dystopian.

Founded in 2002, Stockholm LTD began as an outlet for singles and EPs from Swedish artists with a focus on releasing timeless electronic music. It has since developed into a hallmark for finely crafted electronic music from a range of international artists.

Over the past two decades Pär’s involvement with the electronic music community has branched out across the globe. Openly passionate about supporting underground talent, Pär works closely with an ever-expanding repertoire of labels and artists.

As a DJ Pär tours the world, transporting his deft and uniquely dynamic DJ sets to techno fans internationally and on a weekly basis. His worldwide popularity as a performer stems not only from his skill and versatility but also as a result of the energy he puts into every performance. It's this combination that enables him to bring the heat to the best clubs in the world.

Pär continues to serve as one of the most exciting and hardworking contributors to the scene.  Every inch of Pär’s work, including labels, artwork, release info and music, is wrapped with heart and emotion, a quality which keeps the sparkle and curiosity alive within the ever changing adaptations of the artistic world.
