Mitchell aka Grizzly is an emphatic music lover from the UK based in London/Essex. He was introduced to the art of DJing in he's early teens by his uncle who was part of the 90’s house scene in London. The love for collecting records and mixing Vinyl was instant.  His first love was Drum and Bass from which he cultivated a talent behind the decks. From there he flourished along with the UK Garage scene however his broad appreciation for all genres kept his approach to music and mixing style equally diverse.
 
A routed ear for Chicago House was always destined to be key through his musical journey and a set today will showcase a truly eclectic mix centered around the true essence of a party vibe. From old skool disco and funk, through the ages of UK Garage to Soulful and memorizing minimal Deep house Grizzly carefully selects emotion in his music to seduce a party.
 
He holds a wealth of experience across Pirate Radio stations, hosting, promoting and featuring in raves around both Essex and London. At Groovefest Grizzly was crowned the people’s DJ as he was hosting at the center of the then infamous Villa after parties in the Caribbean and Malta.  He has since performed at Hideout a number of times in Croatia at Southport Festival for D-vine sounds and more recently at Zen fest. An up and coming act that is not to be missed for the true music lover.

In an era of pre-recorded sets and prima donnas who are more in love with the spotlight than they are the music, it’s words like these that solidify Ian’s reputation as a premier house DJ. A rōnin who’s traded swords for turntables, Ian’s been a veteran of the U.K. music scene since 1989. From Spain to Holland, from Hawaii and beyond, Ian’s sought-after skills have landed him gigs in cities around the world. And now as a resident of Victoria, B.C., Ian brings his hard-hitting beats to venues across Canada. One simple rule guides him and the party-goers in attendance: if you come out soaking wet, then you know you had a good night.
Music has always been in Ian’s blood. A classic rock father and a pianist mother ignited the flame that he carries with him today, a pedigree that his daughters now share. For Ian, music isn’t something for your ears to enjoy; it’s a way of life—something that you live and breathe. As Ian states, “I can’t relate to people who say, ‘I used to be a DJ.’”
