PS/ELEVEN is a techno DJ & producer based out of Troy NY, who is deeply focused on music production and growing as an artist & DJ. Although seemingly a relative newcomer, his connection to electronic music date’s back to the late 90s underground music scene. He is excited to present his first submission for the Mothership’s mix series. A raw and pounding techno mix, showcasing his mixing ability and intuition that can take the listener / dancer on a journey of the mind and body.

For this exploration session, the scenario is "What if I played whatever I felt was the next best track, suspending any rules related to genre or staying in key?"

My favorite DJ to see live is Solomun. He's truly "Diynamic," not sticking to a particular sound or genre. While most DJs typically play to the crowd, I get the sense that Solomun plays what he wants to hear, and not what the pleases the crowd. This creates a level of unparalleled uniqueness and sound. I've noticed that he doesn't always mix in key and often (and abruptly) switches genres.

I haven't traveled the world enough to experience all it's sounds.  All I know is from TV and other songs I've heard in my lifetime.  This is a showcase of sounds and beats from the southern and eastern hemispheres; tracks that I haven't found a good home for in any of my sets.
