 no chains, just reining them all in. as the story goes, it's all the same yet different. it's like that one Chinese movie you can watch on YouTube with Donnie yen. the lost bladesman . one of the funniest stories China has to offer. cause there's this ultimate warrior no one can kill. and he says " no kill first, then eat." then does it and wins the battle all on an empty stomach cause he's no retarded soilder in chains. he ate a mushroom pill. but after the war is over and he practically won the whole thing by himself with his pole arm blade, he asked to take his sister in law home. he asked for freedom. and the man supposed to be in charge, realizes he doest have the power to stop him or keep him in chains so says OK. you may go. but everyone else is sooo scared of this ultimate warrior not being in chains, it's like letting the tiger return to the jungle... so they try and kill him. then ordered everyone on their heroin Crack chains to kill him. and it's so funny they just can't do it. sacrifices so many men to kill one of their own it's hilarious. and then when he's poisned at the barracks full of soilders because quote. " we are brothers that's why I did not dodge the needle" and then proceeded to kill every single one before passing out from the poison for a few days or somthing. see I think they discussed this fight before hand cause everyone of those men decided to die by him cause of the chains they had. there's this parasite bug they infected me with with dorm food at cu Boulder. that attaches to lungs and makes them not work right so they can't breathe and therefore can't actually fight for more than a few sword swings so that one guy that's trained right can easily kill them all and be funny about it. and so they just decided to make him even more of a legend by poisoning him and dying before he passed out. and it goes on and on and then even his sister in law he's killing to protect tries to stab him for some bullshit order and chaos empire nonsense and he just don't die. its just so funny how hard they tried to kill this guy who won the war for them single handedly. and how stupid Crack slave chains of an army to piggly dipshits can be. OG version is a crazy gem produced by Nick Wiz. If you're a proper fiend for 90s hip hop you've got to check his Cellar Sounds compilations. There's like 4 volumes and over 100 tracks across them all, mad dope rare underground gems from the 90s. Defo one of the most underrated producers from that era, his style is crazy. This has always been one of my favourites - I'm not even 100% about this remix but I want to release it so I can stop mixing it. Been siting on this beat for a long time now and tried a lot of different acapellas over it, I think this one flows well especially the hook.
