We breathe in oxygen, transform it into carbon dioxide and breathe out. One simple witness of transforming matter. With this album I became aware of this inevitable movement and my deeply rooted need to live that. So I could not restrict myself any longer not to surrender to it, to the creative flow.
Very new and important to me was to collaborate with such immensely talented artists. It has elevated and transformed my production skills & process. I feel very honored to connect, learn and transform matter - together.

Also known as Seekit, @mostf0wlmusic hits the scene with narrative driven jungle. Life is so chaotic and remains as busy as ever for a lot of us, this album reminds you to stop and smell the breaks. Sometimes you gotta bounce to a bassline and get swept away in a virtual world for a minute before we fall back into whatever the day needs from us. Mostf0wl draws from classic jungle textures crossed with a sound palette that reminds him of sci-fi movies he grew up on. Inspired by a story in his head about a shadowy space heist gone wrong, Mostf0wl takes us on a ride. Our main characters break out of jail with the power of amens and gather at the meet point blasting off into hyperspace. Subterfuge is meant to be a complete listening experience similar to a video game soundtrack. This album feels like perfect background music for exploring an uncharted virtual open world running on a jailbroken PS2.

Scuffed Recordings line up the fifth release in the Scuffed Presents compilation series, looking ahead to 2021 with four new artists to the label, and sounds ranging from broken bass, UK garage, rave-inspired breaks, and rolling techno.

Rounding off the compilation is Moscow-based Dawn Razor (@awnazor), whose impressive workrate has recently landed him appearances on labels like Holding Hands and R&S. ‘Dreamproof’ is a rolling techno slammer and the perfect way to close out the release.
