For this month's Unrush mix, we're excited to feature Eric Cloutier - a true digger with a deep history in the scene and an ear for detail. His 90-minute guest mix flows through warm, textured ambient with darker, rhythmic turns: subtle, patient, and always engaging.

Cloutier’s path has taken him from Detroit to New York, where his years as a regular at The Bunker New York helped shape his distinct style: deep, body-oriented music with a strong sense of narrative. Now based in Berlin and a resident at Tresor, he continues to bring that same focus and depth to clubs and listeners around the world.

With a straightforward, no-nonsense approach, he has spent years honing his craft. His label Palinoia - named after the act of repeating something until it’s mastered - reflects that mindset: a home for stripped-back, dubby techno and lesser-known talent that fits seamlessly into his sets.

A true digger with an ear for detail — this mix is one to sit with...

This one has lain dormant in my 'WIP' folder for quite some time, under the working title 'bleak and blue'. The final product is certainly blue in tone, but not quite as bleak as I'd first intended. It's a contemplative yet soothing 70 minute meditation for those early mornings or inter-city sojourns.

The Observatory - Vand

Today’s Pink Moon carries a gentle magic and is a perfect moment to share something truly special. Aligned with the energy of this lunar phase and her recent EP Pink Noise on Unrush, we couldn't imagine a better time to release Banu’s stunning mix for us.

Born in south-east Turkey, Banu is a DJ, producer, and sound artist who uses music as a political tool - a vehicle to express deep emotion and challenge systems of oppression. Her work sits at the intersection of contemporary art and activism, weaving together participation, social design, ecology, and feminist and queer theory into powerful multimedia installations where sound takes center stage.

This mix is a beautiful reflection of Banu’s multifaceted practice. Blending immersive soundscapes, Downtempo, and exceptional sound design, it’s a sonic journey that speaks to both the personal and the political - featuring some of our favorite artists and sounds we hold close. Konsudd is the super group made up of two of electronic music’s finest: Konduku and Aa Sudd. Combining forces like two celestial bodies spiraling into one another to form a galaxy, their individual sounds coalesce into a universe of half tempo electronics teleported directly from the future.

Captured live at the legendary Positive Education Festival, this mix is a testament to the alchemical power of collaboration. It unfolds as a deep trip through fractured rhythms and glistening, crystalline textures. Deconstructed kicks echo through shifting sonic architecture, interwoven with shimmering synth pads that hum with otherworldly energy. This recording is from the first edition of L’Appuntamento, a series of open-air listening sessions initiated by Villa Lontana Records and Donato Dozzy in Rome. Each gathering pairs a vinyl set by Dozzy with a live electroacoustic performance by a new-generation artist.

In this first edition, held in the garden of Villa Lontana, Donato Dozzy opened the evening with a selection of minimal, folkloric, and acoustic-rooted records — setting the tone for Verde Prato’s live performance.

L’Appuntamento is an ongoing invitation to pause, tune in, and share time through listening.
