A Sunday afternoon delight from two of techno's most beloved heavy-hitters arrives exclusively on our Soundcloud.

Berlin techno viking and founder of Dystopian Records Rødhåd and the young, accomplished and Mote-Evolver regular Rene Wise have released their 4 hour set recording from March 2023, a huge B2B session that saw the pair delve in and out of eachother’s company for our last Continuum party. They played an extended set during the final Continuum 24+hour party of the season this Spring. 

The session, which started at 4pm as the tail end of the afternoon drew in and went on til 8pm ahead of a closing set from Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann, proved to be one of our highlights from the event. It's a real treat to be able to share the full recording; smashers from the get-go that takes us through the hard and heavy, to the atmospheric and energetic.

Lock in below and transport to the incomparable energy of Room 1 on a Sunday afternoon. Sometimes, we reckon, there's no place like it.

Ucanquit (Pavlo Lozenko) is a music maker and aspiring DJ hails from Ukraine, the city of Odessa. A lawyer by education, a music producer by vocation. 

"From early childhood I drew inspiration from electronic music, starting with the acid trance of the 2000s and ending with dark ambient styles, but the greatest influence on me was life in Western Europe, where I began to take the first steps in becoming a producer trying to go beyond one style in each track.

Mindig az újat és az izgalmasat keresve, a CRIME projekt 2017 óta szerves része a budapesti éjszakáknak. A korábbi DJ duó, most már szóló előadó és azonos nevű party-sorozatuk mindig az előremutató elektronikus rezgéseket keresi, lehet az techno, trance, vagy a klubélet akármelyik különleges alműfaja. 

A már megboldogult Müsziből indulva, majd hamar Lärm rezidens promóterekké előlépve, a CRIME a berlini klubélet, a horrorfilmek, a cyberpunk animék, a divat, az erotika és az illegalitás által inspirálva egy új underground generációt képviselt, ahol a mindent átitató tech-house légkör üressége helyett felerősödtek a nők és a queer közösségek egyenlőségének fontossága, valamint a fasisztoid politikai rendszerek által nyomorított emberek lelki felszabadítása. A CRIME bulikon tehát, az olyan úttörő sorozatok mellett, mint az OMOH, az volt a cél, hogy mindenki szabadon érezhesse magát. Az eltelt években különös figyelmet szenteltek annak, hogy kivételes előadókat mutassanak be a hazai közönségnek, CRIME bulin debütált először hazánkban SPFDJ, Clara Cuvé, LSDXOXO, VTSS, CEM, DJ Gigola, Nur Jaber, Sugar, Parallx, Lucia Lu, Under Black Helmet, Chlär, Neux, AADJA, és Anetha kiadójával is ők csináltak először kollab eseményt. Budapest főbb hivatalos és nem hivatalos klubjaiban már játszottak, 2018-tól a Kolorádóval is együtt dolgoznak, a zenei határok elmosódásának részeként pedig egy CRIME light projekt is indult, ahol a puhább hangzások dominálnak, legközelebb például az Inota Fesziválon. 2019-ben rezidensként csatlakozott hozzájuk Hexcode.

Az általunk felkért mixre ezúttal egy nyár vége hangulatú válogatás készült a CRIME-tól, mely inkább közelebb áll a trance-hez és néhol trippy, néhol kemény, néhol pedig kikacsintósan játékos.

For our third edition of our podcast series, we are delighted to feature the Hardgroove legend, Goncalo M. This marks his first recorded podcast since 2019, making it a significant honor for us to have him on board. Born in Portugal, he embarked on his DJ career at the tender age of 19. Since then, Goncalo has cultivated an impressive reputation by performing at venues and festivals across Europe, South America, and Asia. In 2004, Goncalo launched his own techno label, "Intuition Recordings Pt," and in 2013, he established a new label called "Global Techno Movement Records." Both of these labels have consistently secured top positions in the techno charts, releasing high-quality techno music.

Invexis, a German techno live act and producer, has been active since the early 2000s, producing numerous vinyl releases. After a break, he returned in 2022 with new releases showcasing raw techno vibes from the early 2000s to the present. He is known for his driving rhythms, pulsating basslines, and experimental modular synthesizer sounds. Invexis creates timeless pieces with hardware, software and a mix of both crafting a blend of old-school sound and newer work. This set was recorded live, and you can feel the positive energy pulsating through the beats, leaving you in a wave of euphoria.
The vibing, positive atmosphere has precisely placed parts of deepness, which, combined with numerous elements, create an overall interesting set.

We welcome NENDZA to our podcast series. He is a member of ISARN, the label of the infamous PARALLX. Due to his wide range of combined genres, he creates new sounds and structures, resulting in interesting and captivating combinations.
