She's been on our radar for almost a year now, determined to stay anonymous in this world, she's got an amazing project running on soundcloud called 'the house witchtapes' where she has over 10 thousand true listeners.

In these mixtapes she features guestmixes from witches and magicians all over the globe with angelic vocals, hypnotizing soundscapes and magical downtempo beats which will take you on a deep and relaxing journey.

For this guestmix, which she carefully prepared over the last months, she carved an emotional and relaxing experimental story with an intimate touch.

The multi-talented artist Hekske grew up on a little farm in a forgotten hamlet in the North of Belgium at spitting distance from the Dutch border.  At age 18, she left the farm and went to study in Leuven, after which she lived in South-Asia for several years before returning to Belgium and settling down in a small village near the sleepy town of Ninove in East-Flanders, where she quietly spends lots of time in her garden in the company of her rabbit.

After discovering electronic music during the summer of 2016, she decided to make a little fun mix with Audacity in January 2017 and casually posted it on Soundcloud, thinking it would get no more than 20 plays.  The tape got way more success than expected and was a few months later renamed Witchtape #1, at the moment when Hekske converted her Soundcloud page into a fairy tale-like channel with the name ‘The House Witchtapes’.  Since then, she has invited close to 100 guest witches and wizards into her unique mystic magic world, while writing a witchy little fairy-tale for each episode. 

And in parallel, Hekske rapidly developed her musical and storytelling skills and in the course of the last 4 years she has made podcasts for over 20 top-tier channels like Deep Stories,  Baikal Nomads, Sunset Grooves and Elektro Uwe. But strangely she has so far never made a tape for a Belgian channel.  So buckle up and brace yourself for the long overdue Belgian debut of the ‘Bibi Blocksberg of the downtempo scene’

And what kicks it off is a mix of a producer and deejay who has been and still is a pioneering agent of downtempo-multicultural-electronics in Russia. Throughout his long-lasting music career, Hans Holman (@guns-holman) has taken part in quite a few underground projects and has stayed resident of legendary Gazgolder Club and @gazgolderclub Label. This very mix is devoted to the art of cunning and singular @cosmovisionrecords Label, whose head and creator, Don Mescal (@don-mescal), a friend of ours, has kindly given us music for the mix.

Солнце давно зашло за горизонт и город засветился ночными огнями. Но кто-то находится выше остальных и еще долго не собирается спать. Смотрите сэт нашего резидента Айдара на открытии сезона горных вечеринок Elevation на террасе Sunqar Restaurant & Bar (21.10.2023). 

Если вы катаетесь на лыжах или сноуборде, то однозначно слышали о самых высокогорных вечеринках Elevation, которые регулярно проходят на горнолыжных курортах Алматы. Взявшие старт в 2016 году в баре 3200 на ГК Шымбулак они со временем переросли в полноформатное музыкальное мероприятие в формате Apres-Ski, ведь эстетика горнолыжных курортов привлекает не только любителей зимних видов спорта, но и адептов аутдора, моды и музыки. Нашей миссией является поднятие уровня казахстанской музыкальной культуры до общемирового, а так же продвижение Алматы, как музыкальной столицы Центральной Азии.

Одним из главных элементов Elevation является место проведения - лучшие заведения ГК Шымбулак, которые располагают уютными площадками с красивейшим видом на горы и другими удобствами. Наши мероприятия проходили в баре 3200, рестобаре Oblaka, баре Versheena 3160 и ресторане SNEG, в течении сезона 2022-2023 в баре 1820, что на верхней точке ГК Oi-Qaragai.

Kazakhstan is not very well known for it’s electronic music scene but there are a few people who represent the country on a global scale and Aidar is one of them. He is a producer, promoter and a dj, wether it be his musical experiments under the alias of Wawawiwas or Cosmic Picnic festival and Elevation parties which is annually held high up in Tian Shan mountains.

A true musical nomad and embassador of central asian music scene he has hosted shows on Energy FM, Proton Radio and shared decks with djs like Spiller, Shur-i-kan, Zuma Dionys, Volen Sentir, M.Rux, Britta Arnold, Mila Stern, Chris Lake, Tebra, Bora Uzer, Hot Since 82, Lehar and many more. 

Aidar’s music includes digital and vinyl releases in different genres on various labels such as Spring Tube, Nang, Rune Recordings, Mind Over Matter, UBER and others.
