The Swindlers return and not a minute too soon as far as we’re
concerned!  The hardest working duo in house music have had a
mental couple of years playing every club and festival known to
man, having babies, seemingly buying up the entire stock of vintage
studio gear off ebay and thankfully knocking out some banging tunes
on top of all that.  Well all club bangers gratefully received here
at Freerange so with open arms and ears we’re happy to be bringing
you the Figure Of Speech EP.
Just as the non-believers think they know what to expect from these two they’ve thrown a rather large curveball and headed down a different road. Figure Of Speech wears some African influences on its sleeve with a bumping party groove punctuated by some nifty
afro beat keys stabs and just a hint of acid. Victoria’s Secret
treads more familiar Detroit Swindle territory with the boys trademark shuffling beats and larger-than-life side-chained pads bringing the drama. Finally, we have suitably titled Live At The Cosmic Carnival where we’re treated to some peaktime tribal business with rolling bass, dubbed out dancehall science and some nifty conga work. All in all, some fiyah for the dancefloor from a pair of lads who know a thing or two about how to get a room jumping.

The beachfront was the place to hang as the sun dipped beneath the horizon. The shadowy figures were dotted in clusters up and down the pier as they smoked in the warm night air. In the evenings there was very little to do around these parts but drink and dance, perhaps move a little under the flickering spotlights of some sleazy nightclub. The summertime madness engulfed this place with a progressive sense of purity and freedom. Hedonism, decadence galore.

For our penultimate release we welcome Simon Fava and Dual Beat to Sosumi.  Bringing some serious latin groove and its infectious flutes, this one will definitely bring the groove to the dancefloor!

German producer Tom Wax brings his own spin to the track adding a pumping, driving electro inspired beat which turns this into a serious mainroom monster!

Finally we have the Island Mix which oozes sexy house grooves perfect for the clubs and the beach parties.
