this is one seriously good track. Honestly one of the better ones i heard in the august release pool, and its a nice segay on that USB comp really shines in that pool.. along with the bushboy track.. nice one!

PREMIERE: Fingerfun - Under Attack [Pigment Records]

Our latest entry to the Four Four Local Selection welcomes Tipperary-native STITCH to the series. Honing his skills as an eclectic multi-genre DJ and producer, STITCH has provided us with a skillful insight to his vast selections as a DJ for our 260th edition.

STITCH has been making a name for himself within the Irish and UK dance scenes respectively in recent times. Playing a host of shows around the country as well as earning his first international gig in Bristol last year. Not to mention a residency on Subtle Radio which takes place every 2nd Friday monthly, along with a number of releases on Southpoint, Diamond Hand Records, Choki Biki and more where he has broadcast a plethora of bass-infused, club-focused cuts.

In addition to his work in the studio, STITCH has built a reputation for his energetic DJ sets combined with his seamless mixing, having captivated audiences at renowned venues and underground parties garnering support slots for MJ Cole with AMPM, alongside upcoming support slots for High Fidelity with Incognito & Miley Serious with Equinox.

STITCH shared some thoughts about his Local Selection ahead of its release:
"This mix was a really fun one blending a lot of warpy tracks I’ve both recently found and even some old ones I’ve had for time, it really doesn’t get much more “my sound” with this one consisting of crazy tracks by French II, Kassian, Lokane, DJ ADHD, Povoa, Villager and many more. Usually before gigs I’ll record a couple of mixes in preparation to both practice and to find blends I enjoy and feel would work at the time of the event, so this was one that I had been proud of and held onto, so I’m super glad and honoured to have it featured. Love."

Twenty-five years after its release, High Frequency's cult EP "4 Nuts" (EPS 001) is celebrated with this exceptional remix album.

To mark the return of Ellipsis Records, we entrusted the three original tracks ("Rumble", "Rumpus", and "Hard At Work") to a selection of legends and emerging talents from the techno scene.

From the raw power of D.A.V.E. The Drummer to the hypnosis of Maxx Rossi, through the modern vision of Electric Rescue or the acid touch of Ganez The Terrible, each artist has appropriated High Frequency's DNA to deliver 12 new explosive interpretations. It is the perfect bridge between the Reims sound of the 2000s and today's techno.

Grooverie was founded three years ago by "Gence" and "Beta Format" with a mission to share and introduce new electronic and disco/funk music to diggers . By curating tracks from various artists and sharing them on social media platforms like Instagram, Soundcloud, and YouTube, Grooverie amplifies exposure for new music while offering talented artists an opportunity to showcase their work. The project welcomes music submissions, such as tracks or recorded sets, to be featured across its platforms, helping to elevate emerging artists in the electronic and disco/funk scenes.


In addition to sharing music, Grooverie also plays a role in providing feedback and support for up-and-coming artists through the growing music promotion platform known as "Groover".
