As we roll into the Winter months, the heatwaves and long summer evenings are starting to fade into distant memory. Meanwhile, Dutch DJ & production powerhouse GUZ has teamed up with Italian production duo Havoc & Lawn to drop their brand-new collab ‘Come Back’ exclusively on Toolroom. 

A first time collaboration for the budding artists, and a label debut for Havoc & Lawn means only one thing, a cut of the freshest new House music for your listening pleasure.

First up it’s GUZ himself, being a label veteran having made his own debut back in 2017 on our Ibiza album. An artist who has made waves in the scene for a minute now, has recently returned to Toolroom remixing Mark Knight’s ‘You Saw Me’ featuring Damon Trueitt, it’s safe to say that GUZ is on fire at the moment!

Up next is Havoc & Lawn, the Italian duo who have made a name for themselves as ‘musical extraordinaries in the making’ releasing banging House & Tech House records on Ultra, Simma Black, Nervous Records and DFTD to name a few.As well as previously releasing on GUZ’s own, Sink Or Swim label, Havoc & Lawn make their
label debut, dropping dance floor weapon ‘Come Back’.

Together, the artists have pushed their production skills to the max on ‘Come Back’, mixing a stomping House beat with an eclectic chopped up vocal loop, layered with lush piano chords elevating this release to a whole new level. ‘Come Back’ is one way to make a debut that’s for sure, and the trio do it flawlessly.

Leading the EP, Mindshake Records boss Paco Osuna delivers a heaving remix, drawing on swirling pads, punchy drums, and cavernous low end for an epic reinterpretation. Latmun draws for sharp FX, grooving percussion, and slick acid lines on his remix, combining them over irresistible low end to create a deeply danceable track.
Nicole Moudaber, the founder of label, party, and radio show MOOD, has been at the forefront of house and techno for over a decade, regularly appearing at esteemed festivals and venues such as Glastonbury, Coachella, DC-10, and Space Ibiza. Her iconic In The Mood events, with recent editions in Miami, New York, Los Angeles, and EDC Festival, have featured legendary artists such as Carl Craig, Chris Liebing, Loco Dice, and many more over the years.
