Striving

This is my take on the song "Miracle Paint" sung by Hatsune Miku. The song is originally in big band format, but I wanted to take out the vocals and spread them amongst the instruments. The saxes die from no time to breathe, the trumpets die from playing too high, and the trombones die from boredom. Perfect right?

We started it back in November 2020, and it just kinda sat there.  We were both busy with school and life, but we recently, slowly put sections in, bit by bit, tweaked stuff, and now its finished! I don't know why but I hear songs that correlate memories to times I wish I could relive like it was Groundhog Day. I want this future but the past is leaving me.

Out of anger comes beauty.

I was pretty pissed off when I started working on this score back in January. But then something happened, and it turned into so much more than I could ever have hoped for.

Of course, the best thing that happened to it was @quantumjoss, with whom every collaboration is an absolute joy.

This song is easily one of my favorites, and I hope you understand why.
