I wrote this while I was staying in Boston, out of my element, adventuring, wondering why I wanted to be there and not somewhere else, wondering what home even means. I had the chance to stay more permanently instead of going back to West Virginia -- a lady was going to rent out her house because she needed to get away for a while. That's exactly what I was doing, except that I had ended up in the exact place she was trying to escape, which really drove home the point that "home" is relative. This is a song inspired by that realization.
