Arcadia 1 was such a great success last year, that we decided to go for number 2. This time compiled by world renowned psytrance artist MEKKANIKKA and dj Paradigm. With some of the best names in the business (AVALON, MAD MAXX, SONIC SPECIES, MEKKANIKKA, BLOCK DEVICE and anymore), this compilation has been highly anticipated, with a strong positive feedback from our dj pool all around.

MEKKANIKKA has been in the scene for more than 15 years releasing on many of the Top psy trance label. He’s toured extensively the world always delivering a kick ass performances in many of the biggest festivals. He has released more than 6 albums and several tracks on compilations and EP almost always reaching the top 10 Psytrance Beatport chart.

MEKKANIKKA teamed up with DJ PARADIGM, a 15 year veteran of the Western U.S. scene brings a sense of artistry and that old school flair to the decks. Originally from San Francisco, Paradigm found himself a staple of Northern California's thriving underground for nearly a generation. The last 5 years have seen him in Denver, Colorado. There he helped reshape the energy and vibrance of that cities psychedelic music landscape. Now residing in Los Angeles and signed to the internationally acclaimed United Beats record labels in addition to being part of the Pulse promotion team,Paradigm is set to bring his energy and passion back to his home state and abroad.

Sometimes we like to think we completely discovered and revealed our world, and that there's nothing new on the horizon, but we are wrong, because sometimes its hard to see the forest for the trees. So we step back to get some perspective and see a bigger picture and then we realize that there's much more that we are yet to discover and experience. 

Metahorizon gives one such panoramic glimpse into the future of progressive trance music. It zoomed out, embraced the whole spectrum, processed and analyzed, filtered through millions of different sounds and combinations, then finally, catalyzed by cosmic inspiration and materialized by human interaction, formed into 9 tracks overloading with positive dancefloor energy and innovation.
Label artists took the freedom of making this leap of cognition themselves, and the music they created speaks of a new world beyond the horizon, waiting to be discovered and seized. But to get there, one must move, create, and progress further. One must not stop!
