No stranger to Phobiq, Kalden Bess unleashes 4 tracks of unfathomable inspiration in a style that is truly his own.

Starting out with the title track, the steamrolling rhythm section propels sinister synths and fuzzed-out riffs to the manic edge while soulful vocals become the perfect balancing contrast. "Awkward" continues in the same vein with more vocals of the haunting kind, eerie notes and a mysterious vibe throughout.

"Studio 54" completely flips the script and stomps wildly, relying solely on the power of the drums and the cleverly sparse arrangement. The EP closes with "OG", where things get more hypnotic, the snares are crackling and the basslines are grinding.

<p>Louie Corrales goes straight for the jugular in his debut on Transmit and &#8220;Ansiedad&#8221; sternly sets the tone for the EP with a stomping rhythm section providing the ideal backdrop for spacious effects and tense atmospherics. The cavernous vibe is only reinforced by the hi-pitched mayhem after the breakdown, making sure that every minute counts.<br />
&#8220;Fix Your Face&#8221; picks up from there and lets the rolling drums do the talking, while another FX arsenal is unleashed, together with processed vocal snippets and yet another climax towards the end. After that maelstrom, &#8220;Xerxes&#8221; takes over and employs noise manipulation in a variety of ways, letting austere percussion hold things down while a a hypnotic tone emanates throughout the whole affair.</p>

French Berlin-based producer and DJ Anthony Georges Patrice returns to his own
Ausblick imprint this October with‘X5NRG’, accompanied by a remix from the much loved
Playhouse artist LoSoul.
Throughout the past decade France’s Anthony Georges Patrice has been steadily
unveiling his productions on the likes of Berlin’s Lossless, Ghetto Rhythms Records and
of course his own Ausblick where he returns here, all the while honing his skills as a DJ
through regular appearances on his adopted home turf of Berlin and further afield to
Amsterdam, Paris and beyond.
Here, Anthony makes awelcome return to Ausblick with a new12’’ release and leading
the way is on the a-side is the original mix of ‘X5NRG’, a DJ tool like clubcut fuelled by
trippy vocal loops, murky atmospherics, a throbbing bass groove and resonant synth
sweeps all underpinned by a crisp4/4 rhythm.
On the flip-side Germany’s groove maestro LoSoul flips the original with his own unique
twist, laying down a near twelveminutes of subtly unfurlinghypnotisminhis signature
fashion. Fragments of the original’s atmospherics and vocals are dubbed out while
LoSoul’s raw, skippy rhythmic style and unfaltering drive keeps listeners locked in
throughout.
