Monnom Black will mark its 17th release with its first various artist compilation presented on triple vinyl. Keeping with the label’s modus operandi, the compilation is packed with iconic, raw and uncompromising techno, featuring 13 artists new and old to the imprint, including a re-release of a classic Drax aka Thomas P. Heckmann track from 1993.

To coincide with the launch of the compilation, Monnom Black will hold its first highly-anticipated label party. Locking arms with the notorious underground Dutch promoters Reaktor, known for their challenging events and pushing the boundaries of what techno has to offer. Together they will celebrate with an electronic onslaught on New Year’s Eve in Amsterdam’s Elementstraat Warehouse. A location cut to the bone that perfectly encapsulates the label and promoters combined vision and ethos.

Dax J curates the night fusing the label together for a special moment in time, with the titan warehouse opening up two of its rooms hosting a monster line up with the likes of CJ Bolland, Regis as CUB, Thomas P. Heckmann, I Hate Models, UVB, Stranger, Zanias, Cressida, Inhalt Der Nacht, Raffaele Attanasio, Tommy Holohan and Remco Beekwilder.

Repitch Recordings welcomes VTSS (@vitiosus) to its ranks. The Polish DJ and producer (real name Martyna Maja) being a proud alumn of Warsaw’s Brutaz clubnight and Jasna1 club (as well as one of Discwoman’s most recent acquisitions), it is no wonder her style overflows with dark energy and tenacious ravey vibes. Her Repitch debut channels this same ardor into four heavy-hitting bangers that serve as sonic power conductors and ecstatic stamina enhancers. The industrialized pounding of her drum sounds is always accompanied by a taste for reimagining the classic vestiges of techno, rave and even hardcore: from hoover sounds and sampled vocal refrains to classic Berlin- style staccato synth pulses. Her approach is though far from just piling a set of tokenized references, and the raw urgency that fuels her creative energy keeps her production as fresh as her behind-the-decks manifestations.

Deepak Sharma unleashes his most intense work on Hidden with Bedlam, a forceful, punishing and sinister sounding four-track EP including a remix by NX1.  The music is versatile yet functional and centered on being a potent DJ tool for cerebral endurance.  

It should be known that the word bedlam came about as a contraction of the name of a psychiatric hospital in London.  This hospital started out in 1247 as a priory for the order of St. Mary of Bethlehem.

Side A begins with Bedlam prodding the senses through coarse textures, distorted tones and a steadfast groove to keep energy at a feverish pace, propelling the mind into hysteria.  The NX1 remix is savage anarchy, shocking the body into utter madness and raw anger.  Listen closely and you’ll hear the wails for help trying to escape the harrowing chamber of torment and terror.

Side B begins with Psychosis which maneuvers through stark minimalism with subtle fluctuations of perpetual motion liberating the mind from captivity.  Mania uses pounding grooves to occupy a cavernous space, evoking wild images of inmates conquering an asylum with no rules nor restrictions in conflict; aggressive in rebellion with nothing to lose and ominous consequences.

Over the course of just three EPs, Klangkuenstler has firmly established his imprint Outworld as a dead serious force to be reckoned with. On 'Armageddon', the label's floor-shaking 4th release, the Berlin artist is out to wreak more havoc by way of three merciless warehouse bangers, all as well- crafted as they are impactful. 
While a hypnotic acid riff and stout kick lend the opener 'Ihr Werdet Weinen' an almost jovial bounce, it is Klangkuenstler's expert use of an ice-cold spoken word that will no doubt cause a 
shudder of excitement among the sweat-drenched bodies its destined to move. Next up, the hard EBM slam of 'Ehre Und Gewalt' goes straight for the jugular, pulled along impatiently by eerie, 
cinematic synths towards its full-throttle climax. Whoever's left standing will only have a split second to catch their breath before 'Armageddon' then rips it away entirely: this ferocious brute of 
an EP closer couldn't have been titled more aptly as epic trance stabs and razorblade hats slash through the speakers and Klangkuenstler rings in the end of all days.
