An improvisation on Lyra 8 synthesizer, using the tuning i made for another track and which of course i don't remember he he. The stereo effect is given by the stationary waves produced by Lyra going into the quite large reverb that i chose for the track

This is a Lumanoise v.4, a CV driven LED lamp that opens/closes his filter, while the same Control Voltage sequences the notes (ehm...noises) and a Soma Ether captures the electro-magnetic emissions of the whole (lamp, Lumanoise and my phone which was there by chance).

An analog synth drone goes all along the track, while i loop other stuff on it and change some parameters. A few notes of a Volca FM pad, some noises captured with an ultrasonic transducer are added and looped in the meantime. Everything is recorded direct to stereo in one go

A little experiment with a Norns that i received as birthday gift from a friend. Very interesting machine

The Center Of The Suburbs

Another generative patch from Norns + a synth obtained by making Ableton generate a MIDI track from the Norns' one. Of course asking the software to translate such a complex material into a melody leads to errors...but this is what i wanted: i just corrected the passages i didn't like. Other sounds are some hand manipulated pieces of polystyrene and the lid of a metal pot of which i re-sequenced the beats and randomized pitch (in a quite complicate and subtle way that probably makes no audible difference, but it was fun to do)

My rework of the track Tides, by Marco Lucchi. Digital treatments on the original track were made with Gleetchlab in one take. Few ebowed guitar notes, 7 words by Sylvia Plath, a long exposition image of the sea of my childhood, because in the end "the heart shuts, the sea slides back". And the tide is the tide in me.

Usually reliable sources tell us that the monster did not feel at all monstrous. The monster felt anxious. That is the way everyone feels except when they are drunk or high. It would be good to remember that when making any strange contacts: The monster feels anxious. Now, if only you can convince him that you too, despite being a monster, also feel anxious.
