2 hours of some of my favourite tracks new and old and pure vibes from the Spike Bar in the Glade at Glastonbury 24.6.23 - one of the proudest moments of my life.
I couldn't record it on the day so I have tried to re-do it, but it isn't quite as good as it was on the day, so apologies for the odd fluff.

Great fun to give these an airing again and to rediscover some old white label bootlegs. Nice also to see some younger generation really interested in understanding Vinyl and how to mix them too!

A few mistakes in the mixes, some crackling of the vinyl and a few skips along the way but all adds to the authenticity!

The lyric “Lost Between the Waves” tells the story of a love drifting in the depths of the ocean — a metaphor for memory, longing, and emotional tides. The Essential Mix is a weekly radio show on BBC Radio 1 currently broadcast between 0:00 - 2:00 AM UK time on Saturday morning. Originally broadcast on 30 October 1993, the Essential Mix features contemporary DJs and music producers of electronic dance music.
