Born and raised in New York City, DJ Rohit Aulakh began his passion for music at an early age of 14. His passion to share his love for music to everyone around him enabled him to begin understanding the needs of a crowd at an early age. With the guidance of his older brother, Rohit became familiar with Hip-Hop, R&B, Top 40, Bollywood, and Punjabi music. Since then, his music collection has been evolving into his most prized possession. 
 
As someone who began as a roadie with a passion for music, Rohit carved a path towards his musical talent. Advancing from a roadie to a DJ, Rohit began with multiple well-established entertainment companies throughout the years. Absorbing and learning from former colleagues and mentors, Rohit stays humbled and grateful to each experience he has been given. Rohit's expertise to blend and transition different genres of music flawlessly, guarantees every guest is moving and grooving on their feet throughout each event.
 
Rohit has had the privilege to show his talent to many audiences. You may remember him from the very first Urban Desi Concert in 2016. Urban Desi was Rohit's first ever public appearance with multiple talented artists from all over the world. Looking forward, Rohit will be the musical magician behind Boston Bhangra 2017 this November with many more events to come. Rest assured, having performed countless times throughout the United States and multiple international opportunities, DJ Rohit Aulakh knows what he's doing. 
 
Rohit is now beginning to grow his roots with 'Platinum Roadshow & DJ Sunny Entertainment' working alongside his skilled colleagues: DJ Raj Minocha, DJ Sunny, and DJ Harvey. His ability to keep the crowd motivated all night provides satisfaction to all his clientele. He enjoys being able to share his experiences and stories with family, friends, and build new friends through the exceptional service he provides. Ultimately, Rohit's golden rule always remains, “I am a stranger to no one; and no one is a stranger to me. Indeed, I am a friend to all" (Guru Granth Sahib p. 1299).
