You sure have listened to GENER8ION's EP "The New International Sound, Pt.2 " released earlier this year in collaboration with M.I.A. and felt both astonishment and excitement watching its massive video, involving 36 000 Chinese kids in their daily training.

Far from Asia, GENER8ION is now planning to tour the United States this fall, supporting Gesaffelstein. Waiting for the tour and an upcoming EP, he released a mixtape stringing unapologetically together worlds as different as rave, Ghost in The Shell and Slim Thug against frantic drums background for an unexpected yet futurist finish.

If you look up the meaning of "like a kid in a candy store," the Urban Dictionary will tell you it's a state of utter fascination, with many good or tempting things all around you. It then gives the following example. "In Amsterdam I was surrounded by weed, shrooms, pancakes, and cheap whores. I felt like a kid in a candy store."

It kinda sums up how i felt when it came to choosing the second single for the forthcoming RÜFÜS album. SOOOOOOO much good shit to choose from - but what to go with next? So much choice, i got confused and went for a surf. Which was when it hit me just how good these boys are at writing hooks. "Like An Animal" was stuck in my head the whole surf, so much so that i pretty much had to get out of the water and race back to tell Danny, their legendary manager that yep, I agreed with them - "Like An Animal" should be the next single.

So here it is.

Oh..but most of you are djs right? :) Well…..we got remixes don't u worry…..Dom Dolla DESTROYS it with his cut….absolutely his best yet!!!! French Express main man Isaac Tichauer takes the deep route while Swiss trio Trinidad get all warm and organic on us like they do so well.

RÜFÜS - Like An Animal (Isaac Tichauer Remix)

Experiencing the Playa at night is the quintessential Burning Man experience. The untamed energy, the chaos, the sensory overload, the cacophony of sounds coming at you from all angles, all mixed with the extreme weather conditions the desert throws at you - it is pure pandemonium in the best sense of the word. It made me feel small and insignificant - in a good way. As my ego faded I more and more felt at one with my surroundings, ready to love and contribute.  As I started playing the bus pulled out of the camp. A surreal scene that reminded me of the Pied Piper unfolded - hordes of burners following the iconic heart into the open desert. But where I had anticipated the Robot Heart set to be a big "me" - moment, it felt quite like the opposite - just adding my small voice to this large and beautiful orchestra that is Burning Man. And that is how pretty much my entire first Burning Man experience went. And it's exactly this what makes it the best place in the world.
