Ocktawian delivers four high-octane cuts of direct, peak-time techno to mint the Sinxergy label.
Opening with a slamming 909 assault, “Error System” then dips into the hadal zone with a tripped-out sci-fi sound, and “Hurricane” gives the EP a touch of old school flavour.
On remix duties is none other than Detroit veteran Mike Storm, who strips back “Error System” into an atmospheric roller for the twilight hours.
All up, Unpatterns is a stand-out first transmission from the Berlin-based label, welcoming two artists fresh from album releases on Jeff Mills' Axis Records, and providing a platform for them to create something new.

After a long break vsmn is finally back with a new episode of the podcast series. For real, the story behind is really funny. We've planned the date since a long while. I have to be honest, after my final exams vsmn went a bit under the radar, not because there wasn't interest, more because there was a lot going on in my life in this time. 

While my holidays in Berlin her message came - "the podcast is ready".
For my self this feels like a message to get into the groove and the work again, to make vmsn bloom again. I hope to share more material in the future and I hope you enjoy her set!

"Ciaocacao is a female DJ living in Berlin. Next to her solo project she is also part and co-founder of the interdisciplinary collective re:flect.
Music is fascinating her already for a long time. She used to love to dance for hours and get lost in the melodies and rhythms – today she tries to create exactly these feelings of freedom and ecstasy through her sets. This is also where her inspiration comes from. After countless Berghain closings, preferably by Freddy K, this is probably what has shaped her sound the most. Otherwise she gets a lot inspired by all the great new producers at the moment. For her there is nothing better than seeing how she can take people on a musical journey and make them dance. Her sound is focused on an energetic, groovy and rolling tune with a high tempo."

VERSCHWOMMEN PODCAST 025 - CIAOCACAO

Jay Clarke returns to his imprint BLACKAXON for his 6th installment which will be dropping in 4 parts across September and October 2021. The project titled ‘Riders of the Storm’ was announced earlier in the year across his social media channels where he made 4 previously unreleased original tracks available to remix as part of a competition. This was opened up to all production levels, with the idea to give lesser experienced artists the chance to remix, get creative and most importantly have fun. Jay has carefully selected his favourite remixes which will now be presented on the label.
