Primarily a cellist, although there's at least as much singing and playing of things like the ukulele here as there is cello at the moment.  Classically trained and experienced in many genres and styles, I'm about as at home on stage as I am in my actual house.  I consider performing an art that is separate from and as important as playing, and enjoy immersive performance and working in character.  

This channel is currently all drafts that I fooled around with in the middle of the night when having lots of feelings about this or that and then abandoned.  I would like to record them properly sometime soon, though, and I use feedback on the tracks in these very, very rough states to gauge potential and interest.  Constructive criticism welcome, judgement should be left at the door.  Suggestions for other songs also welcome, but no promises - inspiration is a fickle mistress and strikes only where she pleases.

Noah D. Taylor is a composer, orchestrator, and arranger of music for the concert hall and for media. 

As the staff arranger for the West Point Band, Noah's compositions and arrangements have been featured on CBS, NBC, and Fox News. Noah was the lead composer and music producer for the 2017 and 2018 Macy's July 4th Fireworks soundtracks, aired on NBC.

Fact Meets Fiction is a Las Vegas based band that started pumping out their own brand of progressive rock/metal music in 1995. From then until now, they've put out 5 self-financed CD's with their own distinctively recognizable and original sound. From one recording to the next, they've constantly been honing their song-writing skills while incorporating their progressive song-writing background into appealing radio-friendly/commercially viable songs.

FMF's most notable highlights would be playing 3 dates in Linkenbach/Muenster, Germany in 2002 at the "End of Summer Festival". They've also had the pleasure of 
opening-up for the following nationally signed acts: 
Flotsam&Jetsam, Great White, Quiet Riot, Geoff Tate (of Queensryche), Jesus Chrysler Supercars, and Rude Awakening. FMF also performed at Attack Record's (Record Label Showcase) in New York City in 2002.

The band has also had the pleasure (over the years) of working with: 
Paul Gilbert (Mr. Big, Racer X), 
Bill Metoyer (independent/major label record producer) 
Tom Baker (renowned mastering engineer)

Fact Meets Fiction has also been honored to have endorsements with ESP, Rivera, Mesa Boogie, EMG Pickups, Cleartone Strings,

AQUARIAN Drum Heads, Alternate Mode/Drum Kat, and Soultone Cymbals.

2015 marks the 20 year anniversary of the band. With a renewed vigor, and a both barrels loaded approach, FMF are ready to unleash their brand for another 20 years!
