Pour cette neuvième émission, @monochromeasso se penche sur le label @ultimae, créé à la fin des années 90 par Vincent Villuis et Sandrine Gryson respectivement connus sous les noms d'AES Dana et Mahiane, Ultimae s'est d'abord déployé comme un portail musical pour partager les esthétiques Ambient sous ses multiples facettes, le plus largement possible.

E às vezes, é no lado B que se escondem as faixas mais inesperadas, aquelas que revelam novas cores da mesma alma sonora.

Guaraci Side B nasce assim — como o outro lado do vinil da minha jornada. Uma nova vibração do mesmo universo.
O disco continua o mesmo. A intenção, a essência, o espírito que guia: tudo segue firme.
Mas agora, a agulha desliza por trilhas mais noturnas, mais urbanas, mais dançantes.

Se o Guaraci original é sol, raiz, rito e silêncio,
o Side B é neon, movimento, groove e código.
Uma viagem por entre breakbeats, eletro, tech grooves, minimal e exotics grooves,
onde a pista de dança se torna altar, e a batida, um portal para estados de presença e transe contemporâneo.

Guaraci Side B – The Other Side of the Same Record

Every record has two sides.
And sometimes, it's on the B-side where the most unexpected tracks live — revealing new shades of the same sonic soul.

Guaraci Side B is born just like that — as the flip side of my journey. A new frequency from the same universe.
The record remains the same. The intention, the essence, the spirit guiding it — all still here.
But now, the needle drops into grooves that speak of nightlife, of movement, of deeper dance.

If the original Guaraci is sun, roots, ritual and stillness,
then Side B is neon, pulse, groove and code.
A trip through breakbeats, electro, tech grooves, minimal and exotic rhythms,
where the dancefloor becomes a temple, and the beat — a portal to presence in digital trance.

This project doesn’t break away — it overflows.
It’s the same source, flowing through new channels.
Art finding new textures, new tempos, new bodies.

Guaraci Side B is an expansion.
A continuation of a story told without words.
The same breath of life, now echoing through different frequencies.
