Native of Savannah, Georgia, DJ EJ Franchise is one of Savannah’s top DJs. DJ EJ Franchise attended Savannah State University majoring in Computer Science and Technology before enlisting in the US Army in 2011. EJ Franchise, later on, graduated from Cochise College with an Intelligence Science Studies degree. EJ Franchise has been in entertainment for over 9 years. He got his start as a promoter for Clouds Entertainment and Club 170 near Hardeeville, SC. He later on begin to host parties for numerous entertainment groups locally and then began to DJ. DJ EJ Franchise has provided DJ services to clubs such as; Daiquiri Island, Club 204, Club Life, Studio 7, Club 170, Club Karma, Frozen Paradise, Overtime Sports Bar, Uptown, Island Breeze, Club Tantra, Taco Abajo, Club Rain, Mediterranean Tavern and many other clubs in various cities. In 2009, EJ Franchise joined Dreamteam D1 Entertainment based out of Savannah State University and began to create his own brand. He worked with all campus organization becoming the go-to DJ on campus for all events and also, was the on-air DJ for the campus student show “Tiger Talk”. While with Savannah State University’s Dreamteam, EJ Franchise won back to back “Best Campus DJ” award in 2009, 2010 and led the Dreamteam Entertainment group to win “Best Entertainment group in 2009, 2010 and 2011. He was also nominated for “Best Local DJ” numerous years from Low Country Award Show hosts and later on became one of the official DJs for Ivana BIXXTCH alcohol. Later in 2011, DJ EJ Franchise was called to serve his country and left the city of Savannah for 5 years. He returned to Savannah in October 2015 and became a part of Heroics Music and Media Group based out of Savannah. DJ EJ Franchise is currently the afternoon mixer for the 5PM “Live Ride Out” at E93, and he still finds time to volunteer in the community with the 21st Century program. He attributes his success to creativity, being pushed by family and friends, hard work, and his faith in God.
