GU returns Down Under as Dave Seaman mans the controls. As one of the original international superstars to build a reputation for himself in Australia, it was fitting that this mix was put together around one of his regular visits there.

As one of GU’s most prolific DJs (this is his third outing for the City series), the deeper, darker sound explored on 022 was not to the tastes of some fans of his previous discs on the famously unforgiving GU Forum, but equally confirmed his status as one of the most talented, exciting jocks in the world to many others.

I found this mix of Hernan's first Perfecto compilation from 2002 on youtube and wanted to share this with my friends in anticipation of my gig where I am doing the opening warm up set for a rare B2B session from Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren at Mighty in San Francisco on Friday August 29th. 

I remember this mix (CD2) blowing me away when I first listened to it. It wasn't as commercial as other progressive mixes and I liked how it had house and techno elements in there as well. It was the mix that made me really follow Hernan and inspired me to play more trippy sounds. Enjoy!

One of my faves, smooth, and with a few epic tracks like Bionic Rockers Code 0320, 5 minutes in although I have no idea which remix it is. 

It's definitely no the original, because it is nowhere nice as this version. Anyone know which remix this is lemme know.
