This is the peak of the challenge right now. Preparing for a gig, traveling hundreds of kilometres, playing in the evening, going to sleep late at night, waking up early to sketch an idea and then head to the @klassifiedrecords studio in Amsterdam to make a track with @parallellsofficial and @samshure. And what a funny chaos it has been! Check out the video to see what I had to cope with...haha...I know it is not Sunday anymore, officially...I am posting this after midnight, but the huge storm here in the Netherlands and the light hangover should be sufficient excuses for the delay. I've recently received some messages from people who were asking about a podcast of mine that was apparently lost from soundcloud, called "Wanderlust". 
It was one of my first ever podcasts, somewhere around 2015/16 (no way to find the exact date at this point :) .. and after some searching, I found out that the podcast channel had deleted all their podcasts, including mine. I was never even notified of this action by them and it definitely felt a bit strange..
But luckily I still found the original on a backup harddrive.. so I hope you enjoy this 5 year old mix of mine, in case you didn't know it yet, or were one of those who missed the old one on soundcloud. The thought behind this mix was to express the feeling of loving to travel and get lost in it while being on the road..

M.ONDE was formed in may 2017 by beatmaker and drummer Taubefelder and multiinstrumentalist Thomas von der Brücke. The two passionate and highly skilled musicians experiment with their audio material of modern synths, clarinet, a variety of flutes, drums and other organic instruments to create a holistic accoustic experience which leads their audience into a deep-space experience of revolutinary downtempo. Often followed by poetic and political lyrics Jeff and Thomas manage to weave soundscapes that tickle body, mind and spirit. M.ONDE is an archetype of what Berlin's artistic scene brings from the world, to the world, ever in search of the sublime.

I was honored to be asked to put together an exclusive mix for Souq Records, using only their releases. When they approached me to put this mix together, I totally had a different vision for it; the narrative of the mix definitely changed based on the recent events. That is why I’m dedicating this mix to the memory of all the victims of the Ukrainian flight 752 tragedy. My deepest condolences to their families, friends and loved ones. Moreover, I’d like to dedicate this to the brave Iranian people who are going through some truly tough times now. Do not lose hope, the world is watching. Sending courage and strength to you all!

A little about Sahar:
Sahar is a drawing artist born in Tehran and based in Los Angeles. Her works employ geometrical shapes and lines to either illustrate scenes inspired by the real world or create abstract shapes and formations. She starts drawing with no particular outcome in mind and lets her ideas flow. Sahar is inspired by the sudden harmony in improvisational compilation of small visual elements.

An Unconventional Symphony

A few weeks ago I visited the Danish National Radio show 'WonderGround'. I got a remix challenge in the category 'Sci-Fi films. From the options I chose Daft Punk's 'The Grid' from their epic TRON Soundtrack.
I ended up doing a cover instead of a remix, and not Sci-Fi in the slightest. You might need to re-visit the original track in order to recognise it here. 
Was fun doing this!
