Philly based Producer/DJ specializing in dark and groovy textures and atmospheres, Steve Fokas with releases on Endangered, KULTO and Musique de Lune Noire, now delivers an original piece to Guateque Music, the ep is completed with three astonishing remixes from Mexican Producers. 

"Drifter's Theory" the title name builds a gently evolving atmosphere with delicate groove and wonderful set of percussions, the emotive track with smooth textures enters to a hypnotic and melancholic journey joined by a delightful arpeggios passage the whole track, the subtle components mesmerizes the ethereal lead after the breakdown. 

The first remix comes from our Label Boss, Hot TuneiK, After releasing his album this January supported by Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and many more, now he offers a new collaboration to the imprint. This interpretation seeks more Organic House textures and atmospheres with remarkable Progressive House touch, groovy bassline and percussions combines perfectly, chunky lead adds a vibrant rhythmic to the angelic melodies that Hot TuneiK provides. 

Second interpretation comes from David Popoca Delgado, better known as David Podhel with releases on imprints like Mango Alley, Droid9 and Dopamine White, David gives a twist to the original elements, adding a delicious and meanful arpeggio, a risen beat with deep bassline presence. Cleverly using the melodic root from Steve. 

The third remix is from Kin Izaguirre, a rising Mexican Producer takes the ambient all the way to Melodic Techno giving it a 360 switch of elements. A chunky bassline with razer synths and a dramatic arpeggio, Kin combines perfectly the elements that glides across the driving rhythmic foundation, the narrative of the melody is heavily exposed to the breakdown, the Mexican brings elegance to this release.
