Building on the foundation set by deep techno, Philipp Kim rejects standardized musical frameworks and instead pursues a creative sound spectrum drawn from his mastery of fundamentals and the spirit of musical exploration refined over his long career. 

His track selection is guided by a central axis giving each mix a unified identity, while flexibly and dynamically shifting that axis, allowing surrounding elements to develop freely, creating a richly varied flow to his set. He also demonstrates a remarkable ability to control the dynamics of each dancefloor through bold crossovers with adjacent genres, standout variations in drum patterns, and deft mixing that builds powerful shifts in momentum.
