2021 and was met with feelings of gratefulness and abundance. it was a year of honoring my emotional and physical needs that I am deserving of, approaching fears, pressures, trauma and bad habits with tenderness and compassion, taking healthy risks, allowing myself to rest, create and play, cultivating meaningful relationships at work, home and within my community, following through and finishing big projects, revisiting my inner child through processing/insight with my therapist. the most important revelation was learning the healing power of embracing paradoxical relationships and realities as a means for welcoming greater fullness in our lives. i was easily trapped by binary, all-or-nothing beliefs and feelings that distorted the bigger picture and created restrictive tensions.  but i am slowly learning how sit with the discomfort and centering the power of identity and community in my healing and growth. :+) this mix hopefully captures this essence.

Honestly, I never thought I'd be able to learn how to DJ, much less play a set in front of anybody in this lifetime. Thank you Academy of DJs for my growth so far, and for having such a supportive community so I'm not afraid to try new things. I am so excited to learn more and to get better! Here's my first mix from Commissary 2.0's super-soft-ACODJ mixer.

this is my spring mix. an introspective and retrospective mix about recent events, love, and my feelings.

Not My Weekend, But My Year

What a short month with so many memories. This month I was amazed by the sky, the clouds, the sunsets, and sunrises everywhere I went.

I used blue for this month because I when I went to the desert with my best friend and all I can remember is the night sky filled with stars with our favorite songs playing in the background. Moments like those make me glad to be alive. I am so thankful for everyone that has come into my life and I can't wait to see what is next!

This mix brings together the new era of edm as well as my roots, which is progressive house.
