PROXIMITY II, the second instalment of the annual Pure Space compilation series. Across twenty one different artists, the release finds synergy through surging electro, percussive techno and experimental breakbeat.

Together the artists put forward a collection of contemporary electronics that provide a wealth of complexity for the ear while shaping the sound of local music.

Devoted Pure Space listeners are joined by new producers, friends and some of our most aspired Australian producers to form this exciting release.

100% of proceeds will be donated to Aboriginal Legal Services; based in Redfern it is the first Aboriginal Legal Service in Australia and the first free legal assistance service in the country. www.alsnswact.org.au

Andrea Salvaggio already fell in love with music as a kid, which ultimately led to DJing becoming his greatest passion. His hunger for record collecting started in 2015 and since then any possible place where you can find records, whether physical or online, he spends most of his time.
The genres he is attracted to are many, ranging from house music with catchy grooves to electronic. His sound can also vary from electro breaks to techno and acid. Creating a unique blend between new and old records is his goal, as he believes that his music is not defined by the era, but rather the flow.
You immediately understand the irrepressible love for what he does, as he is always playing with a big smile on his face.

Arís (pronounced: ah-reesh) presents the first in a new series of 90’s/early 00’s Irish Dance reissues with ARIS01; 2 remastered tracks from Bumble’s 1992 EP ‘West In Motion’ b/w a new remix from Brame & Hamo.

To honour this important record on its 30th anniversary, we have remastered 2 tracks from the original EP and invited one of West Ireland’s greatest exports Brame & Hamo to remix it; their pumping proggy take, a fitting complement to the spirit of that original era. Revisiting West In Motion after all these years helps highlight how crucial it is to the canon of modern Irish music, and will hopefully help introduce Bumble to a whole new generation as a result.

1FFNG007 sees us welcome the first producer from across the pond onto the label. Via songwriting & playing guitar in bands as a teenager to studying jazz, LA-based Edward White has a musical range few producers can match. He began DJing in his teens which led to producing, in turn exposing him to a wide array of new artists and musical styles which he fuses together to create unique blends of House, UKG, Rave, Breaks, Chillout, & Lo-Fi.

With the pandemic pressing pause on him performing live, producing became an invaluable musical outlet, the fruits of which are now beginning to surface. With releases out on prominent labels such as the ever dominating underground UKG label Shall Not Fade as well as Fantastic Voyage and now tapping into 1Forty, this talented producer is one to keep an eye on.

Taking inspiration from the dark sound of the UK capital’s 2 Step UKG scene and incorporating a classic Dizzee Rascal sample, it doesn’t get much more London than this.
