Based in Bruges, Belgium, dybbuk (@disk-wraith) is a DJ and producer whose sound lies at the crossroads of bass music, ambient atmospheres, and techno mutations. Drawing from the restless experimentation of early 2000s electronic music, his productions weave heavy low-end pressure with crystalline textures, spectral voices, and fragmented rhythms.

His love for old-school sci-fi and video game worlds continues to shape his sonic imagination, where futuristic dread collides with nostalgia. The result is a music that feels both intimate and otherworldly — introspective soundscapes that still carry undeniable club weight.

Following his debut Unruhe on Causal Chain and previous works on Swimming Pool and MONTAGE, dybbuk returns in 2025 with Sunwren, a release that pushes his bass-driven explorations further into the realm of dark, cinematic electronica.

Triple Phase – Convergence (EP)

Convergence, c’est la rencontre de trois trajectoires musicales, de trois sensibilités réunies autour d’une même envie : faire dialoguer nos univers respectifs à travers un objet commun, un vinyle pensé comme un terrain d’expérimentation.
Né de notre collaboration, ce premier EP oscille entre électro, minimale, breakbeat et techno.

Chaque morceau porte la signature d’un membre du groupe, tout en s’inscrivant dans une
dynamique collective. On y sent nos identités singulières, mais aussi les influences croisées, les
échanges de textures et les élans partagés.

Avec ses six titres originaux, Convergence est à la fois une carte de visite et une promesse :
celle d’un son organique, libre, fait maison, qui ne cherche pas à coller aux tendances mais à
exprimer ce qui nous traverse.

Acousmatic composition for 8-channel polyphonic diffusion Commissioned by the PROSSESES festival, Athens 20-21 September 2025

eChOlapse presents itself not as a narrative but as a sonic drift — a non-linear environment where sound moves through states of fracture and erosion. The work suggests a broken ecosystem, a broken system, even a collapse continually replayed. Repetition does not function as return, but as residue; loops falter and fold back into themselves, echoes collapsing into echoes. Forgetting becomes a way of renewal, while recalling appears as a destructive fixation — the urge to recover what sound has already erased. In its multichannel presentation, the listener neither begins nor ends but is suspended in a field of resonance, ambiguity, and attrition. Diffusion operates not as projection but as composition itself, where collapse takes the form of structure and disappearance asserts itself as presence.
