Tsimba is the brain child of 24 year old producer Mark Evans Musto. Based out of Brooklyn NY, his vision combines the auditory vibrations found on earth with sounds that could manifest anywhere in the universe. A percussionist since early high school, he draws inspiration from both western and eastern traditional music, while also finding creativity in nature, dusty vinyl, and imagination. This past year has given way to many opportunities, having opened up for artists like Blockhead, Dr. Fameus, Psymbionic, Of The Trees, Technicolor Lenses, and more. His mission is to not only create music that people will love, but to inspire and create art that celebrates all forms of rhythm.

Liberation is a fusion of psychedelic downtempo hips and hops whereby its soundscape provides a source of freedom for the mind to become still while driving rhythms, melodies and bass guide us along this frequency meditation into the realm of cosmic bliss.

Inspired by spiritual and philosophical teachings from around the world but especially yogically, Liberation was a feeling that had arisen from the desire to fuse multiple interests over the course of a track. Having ventured first into the realm of psychedelics years back and then through many other avenues, it only made sense to organically find a way back to the source. Initially, the project began as an experiment to see if this alchemy was possible. Finally, having found this sense of 'release' from having to produce one kind of sound and box it so to speak, 4 tracks were honed and cultivated in order to allow its natural unfolding into the material world.

Numatica is the down tempo project from Melbourne based producer Andrew Hunt. Playing guitar in bands of various styles, Numatica evolved from a desire to incorporate various elements of electronic and acoustic music Andrew enjoyed into the one project, with the aim of keeping the songs melodic and rhythmic with interesting song structures, the result is a unique blend of dub styled sounds which travel through ambient, chill and dance elements. Mental Underground (Merkaba Music) album preview mix

¨Deslizando¨ (means sliding in Spanish) is a mix of sounds from Latin America and the Middle East, combining vocals in Spanish by Ansoara and also by Swa Swally, these 3 artists are part of the diverse brotherhood of Cosmovision Records, all based in Montréal, redefining the electronic sound produced in North America in an EP that sounds like Downtempo and a bit like House with the rich culture and sound that these elements of the world give, in a contemporary format that is suitable for listening at home as well as for the dance floor.

"These are some of the very first tracks I made after I was shown this downtempo psychedelic cumbia sound, which I called "espera" because it is full of waiting for builds, it has a lot of hopeful elements in the music, and it is part of a universal sound connecting widely disparate cultures.

I was introduced to the sound by the man himself Khalil.M at an afterparty, and I found it very intriguing. A year later, I got to DJ at the Cosmic Convergence festival in Guatemala, which gave me the chance to experience the epic Matanza live set at midnight on New Year’s, and then Barrio Lindo the next morning. It was after that, and a full moon party with Mose Cagen, that I started to play around with these sounds. These songs are some of the first ones I made."
