Hello everyone, hope you've been enjoying the festive break, here's a recent jam from a week or two ago in the Sound underground Cellar Studio, best wishes to all our friends and followers and let's hope it becomes a more peaceful and fair world in 2016 especially for all those who are struggling and having a tough time.

Feel a Little Tired

Guidebooks live up to their name with adventurous use of found-sound and field recordings within songs that also feature more traditional band instrumentation.  A featured Soundcloud Fellowship in 2013 showed just how much fun the band could have collecting sounds and writing in collaboration with this huge international community.  Citing influences as diverse as Sufjan Stevens and Mount Kimbie, the current live shows promise to provide an experimental, but also playful, approach to song-writing and  performance.
