Guidebooks live up to their name with adventurous use of found-sound and field recordings within songs that also feature more traditional band instrumentation.  A featured Soundcloud Fellowship in 2013 showed just how much fun the band could have collecting sounds and writing in collaboration with this huge international community.  Citing influences as diverse as Sufjan Stevens and Mount Kimbie, the current live shows promise to provide an experimental, but also playful, approach to song-writing and  performance.

Gabriel Simão is a International Composer/Producer and Audio Engineer currently studying Music Technology at ESMAE in Portugal. He does composing, production and audio engineering as a freelancer and for AllApproach.
He started music school late at 2009 working his way through the violin arts for 4 years. After deciding he wanted to follow production and audio engineering he started Music Technology at ESML in Lisbon. After two years he decided to move to ESMAE on Oporto to continue he Music Technology degree.
